Yes, of course. It's just for those moments when people do put carbs in their mouths and then regret it. Which as we know happens all the time! I wouldn't recommend it as something to take all the time. I wouldn't recommend it at all in fact, but thought it was interesting.

it is interesting and they do seam to be selling it as a "eat all the carbs you want and take our magic bullet solution" for every meal of every day

i have no doubt they will sell it by the bucket load and all get Bentleys :)

Another also, have you tried Rightmove or VisitScotland for a cottage?? We've been looking for our hols & there's loads up in the Highlands [/QUOTE]

Course there is. :D Find me one then. :rotfl:

I've searched since last Wed and there's so little out there that's available. Good thing is, the loss adjuster recognises this and has now upped the amount we're allowed to spend AND we can book for 2 weeks as it seems the work will take a little longer than first thought.

I've got the 2nd week in Aug provisionally booked and need to find somewhere else for the week before it and just move between the 2. If I see 'regret no pets' just once more or 'sleeps 6' (but they neglect to tell you it's small beds crammed into two rooms), I will scream. :D

Hmmm, didn't realise you were trying to book somewhere in the English hols as well as the Scottish!! :rotfl:
Ok, what about putting pooch in a kennel as a last resort?? That would open up more possibilities although not nice for poor pooch.

I am so, so depressed went to the diet clinic today and I have gained 1.5kg, although I'm blaming it on the fact that it's nearly that TOTM! But looking through my food diary I can see I've been sneaking in quite a few home made cookies and slices of cake, also I've been feeling really lousy this last month, so where I was walking everyday for about an hour and a half before, I haven't been doing much. I really need to get back on track!

Hannoja - Milk isn`t good when you are low carb, you can have cream in coffee (decaf) but milk is bad.

Well, neither is tea and coffee but I've been drinking plenty of that! :p :o

Seriously though, I managed to read a few bits of Dr A's book this morning.. popped to the shop.. I'm drinking a creamy decaf coffee as we speak
:A (decaf......... what is the world coming to!? )
I drank a couple of cups of green tea this morning whilst I was flicking the pages of Dr A's book.. thought it might be wise to google about caffeine in green tea... ahem...
    :wall:
hanno, I love the Peanut Butter & Co peanut butter, it's really gloopy & nutty!! :D I must admit I've never tried it on the GG crispbreads, I don't fancy it tbh, I was put off when I tried the crispbreads with houmous when I was doing low-GI & I thought they tasted bl00dy awful!! Really like them with butter & cheese though.

Hehe. Yeah it is yummy. Just butter a 'clacka' (what my little boys call crackers. Aww) and try a teensy bit of PB on the corner... snice :D
Do you buy the lactofree milk?? Tis lower carb than ordinary & tastes just as good, more expensive though.

No, I bought some soya milk for our pup, and I didn't like it.. nor did the dog! lol. I buy him goats milk occasionally, but I'm guessing that's not okay when lcing..? I can cope with decaf coffee and cream for now. Used up some dark Agave nectar I found in the cupboard earlier. Tesco don't do it, so I'll have to go a bit further to see if Asda still do. Is it LC-friendly? I saw someone mention it somewhere..

I went to Aldi earlier. The only crispbreads I could find were some 'Ryvita-copies'... At something like 43% carbs. (no, I don't know what I'm doing lol) they seem a bit high.. but I've just found Always Harassed's post confirming they're the ones.

I've got 4 'ds' Crispbreads left from when I did a 'wheat free' week recently. I'll get OH to eat them heh.

Got some 'Atkins Advantage Wheat & Rye Crackers' this morning from Boots. Appear to be almost exactly the same as the 'GG/SW' ones. Similar price too
So tired.. off to see what this new series 'Identity' is like.. will probably fall asleep..

    Take care folks :)

Hmmm, that decarb thing does look quite interesting, I see there were a couple of celeb 'endorsements' *rolls eyes* Tis not for me though, I'd be worried about the possible side-effects as well.

Would worry me too, and the side effect of gas ~ when I cut out simple carbs, I have hardly any gas, and I sure don't intend to encourage it with a supplement!

Anyhoo, I'm breast feeding, so I shan't be putting anything inside me that might effect my wee bairn.

Cheesey toast is one of my fave snacks, I love the melted, crispy cheeseyness ~ what can I swap the bread for? I thought perhaps I could pop ham with cheese under the grill.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

Just been out with the woofaloes and had an early brekkie, bacon, scramblies, sausages and mushrooms YUM!

Dinner will be cheese and salami and tea will be brisket in mayo.

Not sure what the snacks will be yet as i`ve run out of some bits and bobs. I have some gammon slices defrosting in the kitchen so may use some of them.

Last night i finished of the salted cashews and had a wee nip of voddie before bed and this morning i`ve lost a pound :j:j

First one for a while so i hope that its the first of many more :D Its sooo nice to see that new figure on the scales, really brightened my mood today, shame that i`m so tired but i seem to be going to bed later and waking up earlier atm, maybe its my bod getting itself ready for the early shifts next week.
