Hann, the crispbreads are from H&B but cheap they aint, £1.19 a packet i think, but someone discovered some others in Aldi, 'savoury bakes' slightly lower in carb and only 59p, bit of a staple for me now :)

i've been sooo rubbish at keeping up with you all. I'm more shamed to report that i've been even worse at my so called health kick :o i've decided to put it on a backburner until school finishes and then focus on 'me' over the holidays. cancer research have a 10k race near me at the end of october which i am contemplating signing up for as it will force me to get off my bum and train/exercise (it worked when i signed up for the 5k... admittedly that was several years agao and i havent run since  but knowing how much training i would need i would force myself to go out at least the 3 times a week to avoid dying on the day of the race itself).

in other news, after almost 6 years of living with my inlaws we had an offer accepted on a house last week. mortgage has been agreed in principle this week :j alias you'll be glad to know i wont becalling on you for DIY help as the house is pretty much perfect! although i am contemplating a nice set of antlers to go above the fireplace...

lol......I would cheerfully send them to you pavlov. :D I seem to remember they were more suited to button making though. :rotfl:

Good news on the house, I hope it all goes smoothly. (6 years! I take my hate off to you girl! ;):D)

OH has signed up for a half marathon and has become strangely motivated with regard to training so looks like that may be a good idea pav......although might the new house and training both be fighting for your time all at once? Mind you, you're younger than me, you can probably still multi task. :rotfl:

    Morning :hello:

Weigh day for me & I'm now 1362 which is minus 2.4lbs :D

I was quite surprised I'd lost tbh as I demolished a full bottle of wine last night :o It still might come back & bite me on the bum later in the week though!! :rotfl:

We had a BBQ last night & it was lovely - I had 3 chicken/mush/cherry tom/red pepper/red onion kebabs (nomnomnom), half a fresh tuna steak (that was gorgeous BBQ'd, definitely have that again) & 2 pork chipolata sausages, followed by a handful of Aldi S&V peanuts.

I haven't tried the Aldi crackers I bought yet, I do like the H&B ones though - hannoja, they are GG Scandinavian crispbreads, currently buy one, get one half price at H&B. They are very high fibre & you do have to go careful with them & drink lots of water when you eat them but they are useful if you're 'congested' iyswim?? ;) The Aldi crackers are about half as much fibre. I'm thinking of having one of each every day instead of my usual 2 (sometimes 4) GGs to cut costs a little bit  It's great being able to have some crackers when you're lcing though, I usually have butter & cheese on mine.

    Food for today:
    pre-B - raspberry protein shake
    B - cheese & mushroom omelette
L - 2 lc crispbreads with butter & cheese, garlic sausage, HM coleslaw
D - M&S peppered chicken (0.2g carbs per half pack) with grated creamy cauli, savoy cabbage & green beans

I forgot about my cabbage the other night, tis in the garage as there's no room in the fridge (out of sight, out of mind). I must up my intake of leafy greens though, I know I'm not eating enough. I think I've realised that I really don't like mixed salad, I'm more a iceberg lettuce or chinese leaf kinda gal!! :rotfl: I'll try Sunny's salad (that sounds nice doesn't it :D) next week as I do think I'll like that.

Anyway, enough of the waffle :o Hope everyone has a good day, tis lovely & sunny here again

    Doing well sweet. :T I'm really[STRIKE] jealous[/STRIKE] pleased for you. :D

Sunny here just now (as in sunny weather not our Sunny from the thread ;)) so going out shortly to second coat the sheds and put the last of the plants in. Then tomorrow when I can actually sit out there.....it will probably rain. :rotfl:

Still haven't found anywhere to live for a week yet. Damned holidaymakers! :(:D

Not sure what kind of day this will be foodwise. It's too early to tell.;)

Got some nice new body fat scales from Amazon for £2.89. They seem to be around £25 everywhere else. I was going to try them out this morning but I need a square battery and I don't have one. Oh well, saved for another day, lol.

    Happy Saturday everyone. :)

    :(

Just weighed myself on the old Hanson scales and I was xx st 2 lbs (can't put it in writing sorry :o). I then took the battery out and put it in the new Hanson scales and I weighed xx st 11 lbs (5lbs less). I'm fairly sure my old ones were accurate as they weighed similar to the Doc's scales (allowing for clothes etc).

The new ones also measure fat. They measured me as 42% fat. :o

Can't decide if they are accurate enough to keep or if they're rubbish and that's why they were down to £2.89. :undecided

I don't want to be 42% fat.

I always get a high fat measurement too, i said to my fat mate, i cant be nearly half fat half woman surely, so she jumped on and she was too :rotfl:

Dont think the boys are half fat tho, so mine are prob accurate.. sadly

Was raining five mins ago but the sun is coming through now, not that i'll see it, i'm working 11-7 today :(

    Morning peeps

lovely here today, i`m on late shift atm so i watered the plants in the garden and greenhouse really early this morning, the end bit came off the hosepipe and i got soaked, its so warm that i decided not to get changed so it gave everyone a good laugh when i walked the doggies :D

Brekkie has just been demolished - bacon, sausage, scramblies and mushrooms. No toms left so i`m willing the ones in the greenhouse to get a move on.

Dinner will be salami and cheese and tea will be pork in mayo. I have some chicken thighs in the remoska sprinkled with garlic granules so they will be good for snacking one.

I got weighed this morning and the elusive pound that i put back on and couldn`t shift has gone so i`m now a nice round 15 stone which is 2 stones lighter than before my previous lc attempt :D, i can`t wait to see the scale drop and see the lesser numbers appear :j

The black currants in the garden are starting to ripen, i`m wondering whether or not to make jam with them this year or wine *scratches chin* jam would be bad as i would start eating it and thats no good on a lc diet and wine would also be bad but not quite as bad as the jam so i think that the wine will win. I need to start thinking about sourcing some cheap limes soon. I have a friend who loves lime marmalade and another who likes indian lime pickle so i need to start making some to put in hampers for Christmas. Last year everything was last minute and i don`t want to be like that this year.

I`m off to tidy the kitchen, i don`t need to do anything before work today apart from get myself ready but there is plenty that i could do IYKWIM but i don`t think that i can be @r$ed lol

    Have lovely days peeps.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

Morning peeps. Today I am being whisked away for my anniversary - off to a hotel spa for the night, dropped the kiddy off at his friend's for a sleepover. Ca't wait for swimming pool, picnic and much longed-for glass of wine (I've been basically teetotal ffor the past 10 weeks, apart from two spritzers). Citing! And not going to break my diet either. ONly six pounds until goal!

Hope you all have a lovely day in teh sun. xx
