Feel a bit 'sicky' this morning, will have a shake before i leave, maybe that will settle it.
Another not so nice day
Alias, i've started to really like that clean and clear moisturiser, loving the tingle, wakes you up and refreshes you.
See you later folks.0 -
Yeah, and the friction should not only remove it but if things get extra energetic it should actually cauterize the little monkey

Morning all.
Didn't have you down as a masochist, Maz.Better watch it doesn't have a build up effect and you wake up one morning with a swollen beetroot red face. :rotfl:
Well tag is still here. I had 2 glasses of wine last night and got so unbelieveably tired I had to go to bed.Slept all night for the first time in ages. OH didn't....apparently I snored ALL night.
Weather is a bit erratic this morning dull one minute, sunny the next. Hopefully it will stay dry enough to get the old flaky paint sanded off the sheds and a new coat stuck on. Got some plants in last night, looks a lot cheerier now, it's amazing how a view affects your mood. Also, got a fairly large patch to dig over and weed today as well.
Decided to go down the 'weaning' route with regards to food. I think going from pig out binge material to strict icing is too much and the head just isn't quite there yet so will cut out all the sheer crap for a couple of days first before cutting out other carbs and lessening portions again. It's either that or a 24 hour fast, that can help kickstart things but I'm doing a lot of physical work in the garden at the moment so think I'll lack energy if I fast just now.
Better get off my butt now, see you all later.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Morning everyone
woke up very early today and i`ve still got loads to do before work, i made a couple of big roast dinners for DH and they`re cling filmed in the fridge for him to nuke at his leisure, no cooking for a couple of days for his meals now
Some of the pork has been chopped and mixed with garlic mayo for me later and i`ve just sat down for 5 to eat my brekkie, usual bacon, scramblies, toms, mushrooms and sausages for moi
Dinner will be cheese and salami and then later i have the pork and some chicken wings. I was bad and had another glass of wine last night - must get out of this habit as it stalls me big time. There is a case of budweiser upstairs and this weekend i think that i shall treat myself to a couple or three as a treat, if i remember rightly this did me the world of good last time i was lcing and i was right back on track the day after.
DH has plans for a fishing trip this weekend and all being well he will take the houndies. Hope that its not too hot or they will have to stay here with me and its not ideal when i have to work. They love to go and get the face on when they can`t so fingers crossed.
Just been doing a meal plan from the freezer for the next week and so far so good, i do the grocery challenge each month and i`ve already spent half of Julys money  There is an awful lot of stuff in though which means that DH will be well catered for. Plenty of meat in the freezer for me too so i`m not too worried.
Alias - The cutting down thing is what i had to do this time too, i struggled for weeks to get back into the LC mindset and at one point i was almost resigned to the fact that it just wasn`t going to happen and then all of a sudden i managed it. Did have a few false starts too but got there eventually. Fingers crossed for ya
Right i`d best shift my arris, catch you all later.

Morning :hello:
Definitely feeling a bit perkier this morning but still have tired legs walking up the stairs. Mazzers, we have a downstairs loo but it's right next to the front door so I always go upstairs
alias, I'm glad you didn't do the skin tag deed last night, I just have visions of blood spurting out everywhere!! _pale_
Sunny, how's the little birdie doing?? We have loads of young blackbirds in the garden atm & one has been coming for the last couple of weeks & sitting on the kitchen window ledge looking in at us!! Frightened the life out of me the first time it did it!! :rotfl: I do feed the birds so it's obviously just coming to let me know it's peckish, so sweet though
Food for today:
pre-B - raspberry protein shake
B - 2 pork steaks & 2 egg mayo (just had it & I'm stuffed!!)
L - 2 lc crispbreads with butter & cheese, HM coleslaw (will be mid-afternoon when I have it)
D - possibly BBQ if it stays nice
Yaay, tis Friday which means more wine!! :j Yeah, I know I had some the other night, but the weekend is when I'm officially allowed some
Happy days everyone :wave:0 -

Lol...it's still on the cards sweet, just as soon as I get the gee up again.

What bird? Must have missed that bit somewhere. We have a seagull who seems to have become something of a pet now. I put a thread up about him on the family board about seagulls being better Dads.Anyway after he disappeared, he came back and he's become very attached to us. He knocks on the door to get food if he's not seen us out, I kid you not. He sat on the shed roof whilst I was painting it then moved to the other shed roof when I started painting that one. I call him Buck Buck because he makes a kinda bucky clucky noise. Bucky for short.
He sits in the garden and chases off any other gull that comes near. The dog is cheesed off because Bucky gets the bits of cheese he used to get. :rotfl:

Oh well, that makes it alright then. :rotfl:
Having a teabreak right now, I managed to avoid the hula hoops and had some of those Aldi crackers with cheese.
OH is ranting and raving in the garden as there is an old tree stump he is trying to get out / cut down and he's just not winning. I'm staying in here for the time being, it's safer.Herman - MP for all!0 -

Sweet the little fledgeling birdie has gone - not in a bad way. The parents fed it for a couple of days and they both went into the greenhouse to it while i was sat outside and they didn`t seem bothered that i was there.
Lots of beaks full of food and it started fluttering around once it was stronger, i came home from work one afternoon and it had gone and the parents didn`t pop in anymore so i started letting the little black cat out again under supervision. I was a bit nervous at first but after she explored the garden i knew that it wasn`t hiding out somewhere else. It seemed quite happy in there and liked to sit in a pot with a pepper plant :rotfl:
I always feed the birds and we have nests under the eaves each year. We have three regular wood pigeons visiting which always make me laugh waddling around the garden like dodo`s
Alias - We found the bird in shock one night and DH popped it into the greenhouse overnight to keep it safe, it had a bed and some water and seed and mom and pop came and fed itIt stayed a few days until it was ok.
Just snaffled a quick pepperami and now i need to get changed before i set off
Have a good afternoon peeps

Keep posting on here though, there's lots of low-carbers here that can give you advice, just ask
It was just what Sunny said about her OH that 'prodded' me to post, since it really tickled me

You're good! I had a good walk with the dog earlier (about an hour), mostly in the sunshine. Didn't think I was tired till I sat down after.. dozed off for a few minutes! Not as tired as yesterday though, which is good. Gonna do a 'picky' salad now, with bits of different meats and cheese, and a little tuna. My two boys seem quite happy to eat salad these days: I think the hot weather helps a lot there! :T Don't need to worry about heating anything up for OH later either, so all's good.
What are the crispbreads I've seen mentioned? Do I need to visit the health food shop or something, since I couldn't see anything suitable in Tesco.. they had those Dutch crispbreads which I love, but they were high in carbs... nothing in the 'free from' section either..0
