Let us know when he's been Alias. And take a deep breath and chill out. What will be will be. It's not life and death. Don't make yourself ill over this. I know it's important but still.... big picture. Breathe.0

Hi all,
Was annoyed yesterday that I hadnt lost anything so did 2.5hours on the exercise bike last night and have lost a pathetic 1lb today, 11lb in 4 weeks. Not quite as much as I'd hoped for but better than a smack in the face. I will try harder this week :-) Holiday in 2.5 weeks - argh!0 -
Good luck today Alias x0

Morning guys
its another hot one today, been out for a walk earlier with the houndlets and brushed half of the oldie a few mins ago, he had the other half brushed last night so i took advantage of him laying on his other side and finished him off. He can`t stand for long so normal brushing is a no-no, i look like a sheepdog now
Brekkie has just been eaten, bacon, sausage, tomato scramblies and mushrooms.
Dinner will be cheese and salami and tea will be chopped pork steaks in a pot of garlic mayo, for snacks i have pepperami and as i forgot to get the chicken pieces out of the freezer i shall buy a couple of cooked ones if i get desperate
Alias - I`m willing away for the adjuster to be a fair and nice person for you. I have fingers crossed and tosies too.
I should have had three parcels delivered yesterday and all of them have been rescheduled for today, actually thats wrong one of them had no estimate for delivery but i expected it yesterday so whats the chances that it will arrive after i`ve left for work do ya think?
The other two have arrived and i`m not letting myself open them until i`ve cleaned the kitchen
Have a super sunny day peeps.

Is anyone else an ebay clothes buyer? I need some tips. I just get clothes overload - no idea what to search for, I start looking at things and then get overwhelmed by it all and end up getting nothing.0

It's over. Relief. Huge, huge feelings of relief.Lovely, lovely bloke came out. Very understanding and very fair. As it happens, the estimate I had got was from someone on their preferred list anyway, I didn't know that at the time. He said a patched job wouldn't be acceptable and it all has to be replaced. He's told me to go ahead and get the ball rolling and we can move out for a week whilst the work is being done. So I now need to find a cottage or something that will take all of us and the dog and arrange for them to start.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
I really really didn't want to have to do all that again myself. I'm soooooooo pleased.AND....OH is in the garden right now sanding the sheds. This is the first time in months I've not felt alone, snowed under and overwhelmed.Thank you for the vibes...I'm sure they helped. :T< More of these.
And these....:rotfl:Herman - MP for all!0 -
Omg, cant believe i have slept this late, am usually up 7.30.
Not very sunny today but nice and bright.
SD, you always make me feel positive about lcing, you're always upbeatunfortunately though, i was so craving toast before i read your positive post that i had some
Thats another day ruined
Woke yesterday not wanting toast at all, fancied bacon and eggs, had them about 11.30am, went to work at 1.30, had break at 5pm, no money on my canteen card so decided to wait til i finished at 8pm, did some shopping and was so hungry when i came home, (was 10 hours since my last meal) middley made spag bol and i had a plate of that.
Just went too long without food.
Proves i'm not the greedy pig i think i am tho!
Alias, good luck, cant understand why you are getting so worked up though, i'd be rather 'in your face pal' about it myself, they're only doing their job but it's the honest ones that end up getting ripped off imo.
Stand there, fold your arms and eyeball him :rotfl:0 -
Wahey, great news alias.
Some of them are good guys then eh
And think of the weight you lost while waiting for him.0 -

I think it's because I always expect the worst. I hate the feeling that someone else has control over what happens and what affects me. I loathe unfairness with a vengeance yet I always seem to be unfairly treated even although I go out of my way to treat everyone else as fairly as I possibly can.
Anyway, I didn't need to eyeball him. The low cut top worked.:rotfl:

Mazzers - Glad you find my posts upbeatif i make an effort i can usually control my day - dosen`t always work mind but i find the support on here is a fab motivator and i would be carp without it. Thanks peeps :A
Well the last parcel is yet to arrive and i shall have to leave the house soon, wonder if i can put a note on the door and ask the delivery guy to leave it somewhere, can`t see any of the neighbours wanting to take it as i`m sure i remember reading that all the orders are sent in a 4 foot square box
I`ve put some more food down in the greenhouse and left some water there too, the door is wide open but the little fledgeling birdie is still in there, its far too hot so i hope that it will be ok, the parent birdies keep flying down and through the windows to feed it so all looks well atm. My little black cat isn`t too impressed with being kept in though, she was allowed out last night after ten when i closed the GH door and birdie was safe.
Off to put some slap on - not much so will still scare people
