  • Hiya alias  You said 'we' so I'm hoping that means you're getting some help today??
Good luck with the acupuncture tomorrow, hope it helps, seem to remember you felt pretty positive after the last one :D

    Forgot about my menu:
    pre-B - raspberry protein shake
    B - 2 egg cheese omelette
L - 2 lc crispbreads with butter & cheese, soup, cold meat
D - butter chicken & grated creamy cauli

I must be bonkers having soup & curry on a hot day like this :o

I've already had my dinner & it was extremely yummy and filling  Hubby had half (used the 2 chicken boobs this time) & he really liked it & would have it again :j

OO thanks sweet, i`ll make the pie in the remoska later on, can`t bear to have the oven on as its so hot.

Actually i`ll have to keep my fingers crossed cos the electricity has just been off for a while

I visibly paled when i thought immediately of all the food in the freezer but its back on now and hopefully for good this time. Its always at a bad time when it happens, i`d got the washing machine half way through a cycle and the moby was on low battery, i rang Mum who looked up the phone number for me and the leccy peeps said that it would only be off for about an hour, feel better now its back on though cos last time it went off we were told an hour and it was 7

Moby is charging as i type :D

Hope the shed gets finished today Alias, don`t worry about telling the accupunturist thingummybob what you`ve been eating, when you`ve finished your course you won`t have to see em again so it dosen`t matter :D I`m sure that there will have been plenty of others that have said the same.

Think my problem is portion sizes right now....need to drop it by about half - but still put loads of veg so I'm filled.....my low carb way only works if I eat every 3 hours, since moving out I've gone back to bigger meals.

Tomorrow's task is to get back into the small meals I think....got a nice beef thing I cooked up tonight so I'll split that between lunch and dinner tomorrow with a nice bit of fruit in the middle....just hate eating in this heat so by the evening I'm STARVING and eating crap.

finished tidying the garden and had an impromptu bbq, got another hammock too, middley has put them together to make a double bed and said he may well be bonking under the stars, i'll be afraid to go get my washing in :rotfl:

Not been good lc wise but hey ho, there's always tomorrow.
  • Morning :hello:

Lol, mazzers, that made me laugh about your middley son!! :rotfl:

Sunny, hope your fishpie turned out nice, think I'll make one during the week :)

elfen, I hate doing anything in this heat, all I want to do is drink cold water, which I suppose is a good thing!! :D

Tis another hot & sunny day, haven't been out for a walk for a few days now cos I don't want to end up looking like Sweaty Betty again!! :o I've been going on the wii fit plus though, still end up bright red & boiling, but at least no one sees!!

    Menu for today:
    pre-B - raspberry protein shake
    B - cheese omelette
L - 2 lc crispbreads with butter & cheese, cold meat salad
D - chicken in an aromatic garlic & herb dressing (thanks M&S), cauli mash, green beans

I need to eat more green stuff. Can anyone suggest a nice salad dressing?? Preferably a creamy one rather than a vinegary one :o I think if I could drown a mixed salad in something tasty (& low carb) I would eat more of it. I think I'll get myself a cabbage as well.

I'm not sure what I'm doing today, I was supposed to be going shopping but DD2 is off school poorly. I'll see how she is later & maybe drop her off with her Grandad, as it's mostly his shopping I'll be doing anyway!!

Hope everyone doing ok today

Morning all. Knackered today, got sore arms and legs, I am sooo unfit. :D

Yip Sweet, OH helped out in fairly good humour yesterday. The day before he started doing things but ranted and raved within minutes of starting so I very calmly told him he was bringing me down and to go away. He's must have thought better of it yesterday and came out in a reasonable mood so we got a lot done. So much easier when you have someone to help you. I don't think I'd have got the shed roof on by myself, lol. If the rain stays off today, I'll get the thing sealed and painted and then I can get all the crap out of my kitchen/hall dining room etc. I was in two minds whether to leave it all till after the insurance man has been, if there's crap everywhere he'll likely not hang around too long. :rotfl:

Well Maz, did he bonk? :D I've got a hammock I've had for a year or so but have never risked lying in it, don't know if the stitching can take the strain. :D

elfen, some veg is pretty high carb so be careful with loading the plate up.

[STRIKE]Shame[/STRIKE] Glad the leccy came on in time Sunny and all that food never defrosted. ;) It would[STRIKE]n't[/STRIKE] have been good if you'd had to eat it all. :rotfl:

Hope DD feels better soon Sweet. Mine is a moody nightmare at the moment...she's getting to the 'hormones kicking in' stage. She's going off with her Auntie, Unc and cousin for a week soon, Can't wait. :D I was hoping to try to get away for a few days then too but the kitchen is probably going to put paid to that.

Oh and just to keep this mildly on topic.........I have just had breakfast....2 packets of hula hoops. I am a disgusting mess and a total waste of space. :o

Off to the Docs (again) fed up of it now, for blood tests.

Where is Alias? either busy or being naughty :naughty:
Me too, is hard in this lovely weather when you just want to sit down in the evening with a cold lager.

Hi everyone:DSince last friday night I have eaten like an idiot, whole large tubs of ice cream, whole boxes of chocolates, mashed pots which I dont even like:oand huge amounts of low carb stuff, oh, and I had a drink on Saturday night (vodka and diet coke) but.........having not dared to get on the scales for 3 days I weighed myself this morning and I have lost 4lbs:eek:how is this possible? Am I wasting my effort of low carbing? and also I have to say that I feel really well and happy, which makes a change:oI actually feel calmer and more myself then I have in ages, does anyone know why?
