Oh no...you won't have to pay interest will you?

No, since it's their fault they're waiving the interest and the late payment fee (however much that is?).

You might want to check they haven't put a late payment marker on your credit file.

I must admit my credit file is not something that I've ever taken any interest in. What effect might it have if they had put a late payment marker on it?

I applied over a week ago and was asked to fax a copy of my driving licence to confirm my postal address, which I did the same day.

Haven't heard a word from them since. Did try phoning but was told I would have to phone a different number - wouldn't you know it an 0870 number!!

The don't exactly seem to be that efficient do they? I am wondering now if I actually want a credit card from them.

    Hi melbury,

I too had problems with them, when I returned my signed credit agreement I heard nothing from them for weeks. When I called them they said that they had not received the credit agreement and would send me another one. Again, I received nothing from them, so I e-mailed them at: yourquestions@ge.com quoting my account number. This seemed to spring them into action, as I received my card and PIN within the next 7 days.

I would recommend e-mailing them at the address above. It worked for me.

Still haven't heard a word from them, I think it is just plain ignorant not to respond one way or the other. I can't see any reason why they wouldn't give me the card, so am totally nonplussed!

Does anyone know what they are like once you get their card and start using it - e.g. are the statements accurate etc?

Seem to operate like a lot of cowboys!

GE do not have an online payment facility... yet - I confirmed this with them via email.

They are however looking into it.

Payments are accepted FREE of charge at branches of Lloyds TSB.

After all, what is the point of cashback if you're paying for a stamp every month???:rotfl:

Why pay for shoe leather to get to Lloyds? If you have internet banking, just make a payment from your account.
