whilst i have had this a few times usually when its not the usual postie
i have to say nothing can be as bad as city link

they were due to deliver me my parcel they failed too we were in flat with concierge quite simple really parcels get left with concierge as per instructions on parcel
they apparently delivered parcel at 08:45 to a house with brown door .. and left card as no one in .. so we have no card and no idea where they tried to deliver parcels ring up with tracking code and told they will not redeliver and we have to go to collection site other side of town so one taxi journey later we are stood outside collectiion office to find securtity wont allow us on to the site as we didnt have a card that was left ....*not in my building* anyway he just kept pointing at his poster on the wall that stated no card no delivery that had come into effect that morning .. we spent an hour trying to get him to find a manager so that we could sort this out as we had already spent a fortune agreeing we could go and collect the parcel but he refused to budge ..

so i had to ring the number again using my mobile phone to get a manager to come out of the collection office to agree that we could have the parcels that we were supposed to have been already agreed to collect

    i hate city link

    I'm gobsmacked this morning.

Royal Mail Postman rang doorbell, banged on door, left small box package on the step and was down the other end of the street and shouted "thanks a lot" when he saw me open the door and look for him.

He obviously didnt give a toss if someone else had of picked up this item.
