  • I recently bought some foreign currency with a debit card and was charged a cash advance fee! What a cheek, this was not a cash advance, the money came straight out of my account - the bank said if I bought currency from them I would not have been charged!

    WASTE OF NHS MONEY

I live abroad and I am registered with our local health service. Why can't I get "deregistered" at my old doctors surgery in the UK.I am told they will only take me off their system when my new doctor applies for my records (which they will not). I know other people like me here Why should our old doctors be paid to keep us as their patients.

Speaks for itself. Fuel doesn't cost energy companies more during the winter. The winter price rises are there purely to exploit customers when they need energy the most.
    Absolutely... WELL SAID.

There is no need to put the prices up.. The people are still going to use the fuel and of course more of it.
Valentines day is another, although completely different story..

Your point Valid, True and Justified.

  • Stop hammering the BBC. It is an incomparably brilliant service in TV , Radio and online. You only need to experience the average output in other countries to know how bad things could be here. The day it goes or diminishes due to lack of funds watch Sky and the likes hike their prices.

Legislate to make morgage lenders lend no more than 2.5 times your annual salary, punishable by imprisonment for company directors who fail to comply. This will keep house price rises in line with pay rises so people don't get priced out of the market and return sanity to the housing market.

I agree. If you don't pay into the system, how can you be entitled to take out of the country.
    The point is still this:

IF THEY ARE NOT IN THIS COUNTRY, THEN THEY SHOULD NOT RECIEVE FROM IT.

They should be made to ask the country of which they are residing in.

When home educating your child/ren you take full responsibility for funding their education, you get NO help. In order to educate in a full time and satisfactory way it is not possible to work. Pay parents that stay home or set up a fund for each child.
This would of course be for particular reasons..??

Or else all would keep their children at home to self-educate.

  • It should be mandatory for all utility companies, including telephone, broadband and the banks to have a clearly highlighted "Make a Complaint" icon on their website home page. It is not fair to make customers negotiate a maze of sub-headings just to lodge an honest grievance.
  • Small housebuilders' cashflow is being hit incredibly hard by having to pay S106 contributions of £20,000 per 4-bed house just to *apply* for planning permission, if their mortgage provider won’t sign the S106 agreement. Please restore "Grampian" planning conditions so builders only have to pay when they actually start building.
  • Most utility companies make allowances for people on limited incomes. However, in rural areas a large amount of people are dependent on oil fired central heating. Oil suppliers hold their customers to ransom, rarely allowing credit facilities and demanding payment up front. No subsidies are available. Please put pressure on central heating oil suppliers.
