Hi all,

Hope everyone is ok in their varying stages of BR! Well have to say today I am beginning to feel a bit sick!

Even thou I have been here before and was fine, cool, calm, collected in the court...if they do not turn up again I am not sure what I will do...need this to happen know so I can get on with my life...really hope by this time next week I can post it is DONE!

Anyway sure it will all work out! Good luck to everyone in the coming weeks...promise you the court room bit is not bad at all!

Is there a november bankrupt/HOMELESS club??? Our landlord has informed us that he is selling the house soon......... Not sure how to cope with that one as well as court in morning...!!!!!

oh dear, sorry to hear that, no homeless club am afraid. but you should check your tenancy agreement to see if he is allowed to do so during your tenancy if it is for a fixed term. I don't think they are allowed if it is a fixed term tenancy. Check anyway because he may be required to give you an official period of notice before the property can be put up for sale or sold.

Hope that you can find something else even better. new home new start perhaps? :D

well they do say life begins at 40 and that's next month for me! We've been here for 6 years and nothing in tenancy about being fixed term.....don't really understand so will do some research. As for notice, we have 2 months but i think he'll stretch this to 4 as i cried and made him feel bad!
Luckily no mention of bankruptcy in agreement either but not that it matters now as we're gonna have to leave.......how the hell are we gonna get private renting......i can imagine the conversation.....
me - can we please rent your house.....we are both bankrupt, we have 3 teenagers and a demonic cat, oh and i wanna childmind in your house please?????

Just to update this - I had a phone call from intermediary this morning to let me know that my DRO has been approved, now I just have to wait for the OR letter in 2-3 weeks time.

After much soul searching I went BR at Sheffield this morning. Just sat nervously waiting for the OR to call.

Its been a terrible journey and I'm not out of the woods yet but I'm getting there. Huge thanks to all the people on this board for advice, thoughts and help.
