The law, as I understand it, says, that if Driver 1 knocks over some sort of game animal or bird, if they pick it up and take it away, it could be construed as poaching. But, if someone follows on almost immediately and picks it up, there's no criminal charge....
I've never been fortunate enough to be following Driver 1 close enough to know when they knocked the potential food source down.
One day maybe...
My OH once witnessed a deer being mown down by the driver in front and duly brought me home the corpse. _pale_ As I watched him butcher it on my patio I couldn't help but wish it had been something a bit smaller.
A few years later in the middle of nowhere on the Cowal Penninsula, the car in front of us hit a pheasant. We stopped thinking we might have some game for tea but the poor thing was just stunned and I stuck it in the car with my newborn twins and made OH drive 60 miles with it to a bird sanctuary where they established that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it.Edinburghlass wrote: »Just back from Tesco and nearly hit a fox on the way, but I don't have a fox recipe either :rotfl::rotfl:
I hope you were driving and not walking back when the urge to thump a fox came over you.And next time, you have no excuse.

washing your hair in rainwater, used to do this at a friends house, we had lovely soft hair .... reminds me of a terry pratchett character - asked what was the secret of her soft hair she said 'you have to make sure there's no newts in the water'... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

A video tip section on this site/ forum would be a fantastic idea i think, Jamie Oliver has a similar thing.
Any chance of that happening Martin?0 -

Now that is a genius idea - the MSE A&E - MARTIN.... cooooeeee....woo hooo... Laura just got you a series idea for BBC2
NannaC - loved the swishing of the watering can in the butt:j. I felt a right plonker waving my hands around above bits of fabric.
It did feel a bit jumpy between tips but the trouble is - Old Styling is a way of life and it's kinda hard to portray that in a half hour news show. I think you need more of a Kirsty's Homemade Home type show for that!
Something set in a nice house so you can show the pantry, the vinegar obsession, all the little things that make a big difference that aren't necessarily "sexy" for a tv news show.Well behaved women rarely make history.0
