OK, have finally cracked and got car/garage from Fleabay for £28 including postage...*hangs head in shame* - I just wanted to have ONE add-on in case I can't get the wheel and/or slide...
Anyway, have got hubby organised to take DD to school in the morning and I'm off to queue at Toys R Us followed by a quick trip to Asda if unsuccessful at TRU. Am dreading it, I buy everything online!! Hope it's not a scrimmage!!
Good luck to everyone else!0 -
You are right, we dont have to buy from them and they aren't whacking prices up. However, if, like me, you dont have a John Lewis anywhere near you it does put the price up a bit! In Cumbria we have nowt LOL
Well, we do have a LOT of water!!!!
Personally I just think its another example of bulk buyers making it hard for genuine parents to get what they need. If you have 2 or 3 kids and struggle to get one hamster with £3 p&p you have to go through it all again...twice! £9 p&p for 3 hammies is no different to paying higher prices but being allowed to buy 3.
I didn't buy one anyway, but I just feel for people who do genuinely need more than one.0 -
I'm gutted I can't get out to the shops anytime soon, my 3 year old came down with chickenpox today. boo.0

I have just come back from Lakeside. Asda Living on the retail park had about 12 hamsters - all 4 varieties. Went into Toys R Us and a really lovely lady there said "the lorry has arrived"!!! She assured me there was Go Go Pets stuff on this lorry. They were unpacking it all overnight and it would hit the shelves tomorrow morning - doors open 9am. I won't be able to get there (typical!), but happy hunting (you can pick up a wheel and a ball for me and tuck it behind something else on a completely different shelf, and I'll pick it up later;)!!!).
Good Luck! Hope this helps someone.. x
if you dont mind me asking which toys r us was this?0 -
ponymad, I really think you should submit your poem to the Daily Mail as they would publish it.

Amazon (not the marketplace) have the right idea - £7.99 each, maximum 3 per order and free delivery. Why the hell don't they seem to be getting much stock? They normally have everything0
