  • Arggggggggggghhhh really furious - toysgamegifts confirmed my order for the house, paypal money was taken - only to be told I have just been refunded because the stock is not available - GREED - they should not be allowed to do this - I will have one very, very sad little girl who wakes in the morning and realises her (part of) birthday present actually won't be on the way, after being told - AND CONFIRMED - it would. Bad Practice.

  • Hi everyone. I've not gone back through all of the posts but it seems that some have been lucky, others not.

When I got in earlier I had lots more requests to join the ebay group, thank you. Over a hundred like minded people in their, swapping and selling at cost to help others.

I went in Tesco's and asked again about the hamsters. None on the shelves and none that they know of. The manager did however agree to my demands for when I next visit and will duly be furnishing the aisles with white kittens and pink carpets.
Went to the paper shop - it had blown away.

Lets all take a minute to think about those who have been flooded out of their homes today. My son in law is with the coastguard and is out there now helping to airlift people out of thier homes in Cumbria. Makes looking for hamsters pale into insignificance :-(
  • Dear Sir/Madam,

Please accept our sincere apologies! We have been having issues with our stock showing erroneously for the GOGO Hamster product and unfortunately we shall not be able to fulfil the order on this occasion. We have had very limited stock in today.

    You have not been charged.

We are hover due more in stock within the next 2 weeks. We will be contacting all affected customers when more stock is delivered.

Again many apologies for the inconvenience.

    Thanks

    Rob

Fair enough, sounds like I am gonna get 1st shot at it when they get more. (Unless of course I get one RRP by then!)

At least you had that! All I had was: "Your order from Toys Games & Gifts with order number xxxxxx has been refunded." thank you very much:mad:

My worst nightmare is to be flooded. I can't imagine what must be like for people to suffer like this and with worse weather on the way it certainly does put things into perspective.
