  • maximouse, cmg gifts also have an ebay account. Do you know if they will be placing more go go hamsters and/or accessories on ebay or just their website? Thank you.

Sorry to all people waiting to grab all the stock, but I have been in contact with Michael again to suggest (if he hadn't already thought of it) that restrictions are placed on how many things of each item people will be allowed to order (I suggested 2) and about restricting multiple orders from the same account, or ones from the same name and / or address - Like Hoorayfortoys did to make it fairer for everyone. There are technical issues to be overcome in order to put any restrictions in place, but he is going to look into it as he agrees that genuine customers should be the ones getting the items, not people buying in bulk for resale. He is going to get back to me before Wednesday to advise what they have been able to put in place regarding this.

  • I agree with you in principal MM it's a shame if you and a few others do all the work, but today I would be very suprised if there was anything to find with a new big delivery due, previous stocks are exhausted.
I'd like to think there are silent masses clicking and phoning like crazy but finding nothing, I also know there will be many more who are just sitting waiting to be told where the stock is.
I have been refreshing about 5 sites for the last 3 hours, I've phoned 5 Asda's, and 5 Tesco's, and checked about 20 Argos's online - not a sniff I'm afraid, I hope lot's of others are doing the same, and I hope everyone including the lurkers and sellers appreciate all the hardwork you and others have put in.
Forgets the smiles on the sellers faces, think of the kids smiles on Christmas day, and parents don't forget to tell them about Santa's new elf Maximouse:T:rotfl:

Nooooo....;) not a good idea to open anymore hammy threads, its not fair on other mse members to have to keep seeing hammie threads on every subsection, its a bit like ugg boots, if there's too many threads we just get comments from other members along the lines of how many ugg threads do we need. Everyone will chat regardless of if its a stock available thread, by keeping it all in one thread its a lot easier to keep an eye on the latest stock, today will be mainly chat as there are no forecasts on stock being added. It would be awful if a parent was on the wrong hammy thread and missed the chance to buy when they come into stock because they were in the wrong place.

I agree with Mookie, lets not get too professionally organised!! Anyway its nice to have a bit of a chat, after all, the stock postings are very sporadic and gone in a few minutes, so you really need to be checking every few minutes if you're seriously looking and might as well have something to read when you do check in! that's what i think anyway. :D
  • Excellent suggestions maximouse. I think a restriction to two items is acceptable given the scarcity of the products.

Brilliant suggestion maximouse, hope he can sort something out.
  • Good idea.
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.
  • I think today there isn't going to be any new stock on any of the toy websites but the best bet is to look on ebay, especially tonight during the finals of the x factor.

I would also use the search on ebay to look up used items newly listed. I've seen that a lot of the used items appear to have been used 'only once' and look to be in excellent condition.

Many people will not buy second hand so you may just find yourself a good deal by doing so as less people will bid. I must admit I wouldn't buy the actual hamster secondhand because it is electronic and you will have no guarantee but the accessories would be a good buy if they have been hardly played with.
