I think a max of 2 items per customer policy in all stores stocking them would be the best policy - with an exception for larger families who have more than two children - perhaps they could produce a child benefit letter as proof!!
Anyway good luck everyone- so far I have one garage and one hamster... looking for one more hamster and hopefully a house.. this was going to be a birthday present for DD for next week but I'm going to keep it for Christmas to see if I can get a few more items to make a set up... I have another DD who doesn't want a hamster but will want to play with one when she sees her sisters!!!

I have not said anything about lurkers. My reply to your comment was purely regarding having another thread.

Well, nothing too exciting but if you want Chunk then go for it.

I'm not going to buy beds or carriers as they don't look particularly good quality and will make my own.

I'm still holding out for my hamsters with either my play.com order or my mailorderexpress.com order, whichever comes first.

I posed your question and received this response:

"I will not sell hamsters on the ID from this date forward. I did sell a few as thats what we do, but no more will be sold in that way by us to give consumers a fair crack. I started this business because I couldn't find a toy I wanted and had to resort to ebay. So we'll live up to our ideals.

I am currently putting a restriction notice on the products on the website, which will also go on the home page shortly.
