Well, if anyone posts today looking for stock, I would recommend referring them back to page 156, which is the big post I just did, as many don't seem to be bothered to read back on previous posts (and just want the information without putting in any effort whatsoever), and we are all having to repeat ourselves, again and again in our quest to try and be helpful

Morning all,
well i find myself drawn back to this thread again lol!! someone last night posted they had managed to get whole set from wilkinson's in bulwell notts the other day, so am taking a trip there this morning so will report back if i find anything, i was going to wait until after xmas for the rest but having got caught up in the excitement i would like to get a wheel (i missed that on play yesterday) a bed and the elusive ball failing that the scateboard.
I got onto play in time to order a slide but my account is showing as order taken not processed so as someone posted before does this mean i will get it with their next batch? they havent taken the money off my card either? i need to pay some money in my bank today and not sure whether i need to cover that play payment or not does anyone know if it says order taken its like a pre-order and they dont charge until they dispatch??

I had a similar thing with Play.com (not hamsters) and it still said the same thing after I'd received the goods!

If you look at the order status in your account - processing means it was in stock, you got it, and it will be coming your way. Order taken means it ran out of stock and they will send when they get it - which could be anytime. yes, I was the one that posted this before...and I wouldn't post it if it wasn't the correct information - i order from play.com quite a bit. Oh, and they only take the money off your card once the order is processed and dispatched.

Best thing to do is keep looking for whatever you have ordered and if you manage to get it, just go back into your account and cancel the order. I ordered a skateboard a couple of months ago and cancelled it after around 4 weeks I think as it was still on order. However, some held out longer and did eventually get their items. So its a case of how long you want to risk waiting.

So in view of the above littlewoods have taken my money and have said it will be dispatched but then emailed to say they have no stock, then maybe the 4th december what would you do? Cancel or keep waiting in hope? Seems obvious to me that they took the money without the stock actually being there seen as it was well over a week ago
