If Play don't already have the stock to cover this, then that is a risky wait for Xmas as there are presently no deliveries of the addon playsets expected until 2010.

Character have been very good at sharing info with me (to the extent that we broke their website yesterday:rotfl:). I do know that Character are trying to get more stock of these, even air-freighting rather than using sea freight to get stock on shelves, but any new stock has to be manufactured first and that's the tricky bit. Character have no further firm deliveries before Xmas other than what has been shown and I would be very surprised if Play still had any outstanding stock allocation sitting at Character waiting to be delivered.

More Hamster stock has still to come in to the country as well as distributing wholesale orders from the shipment that arrived yesterday.

I wouldn't be panicking, but if you find a replacement meantime, then you could cancel your other order.

Thanks this is doing my head in lol! i figured that as they updated some stock yesterday they may have some in the warehouse and was just uploading it gradually or something aarrggghhh!!! i hate this, think i will take Maximouses advise and if i see another in shops etc... to get it and then cancel the play order if not been delivered! they havent taken the money yet! they shouldnt be allowed to let people buy if no stock, i wonder why they dont add these items as a pre-order with a due date as they do with games and dvd's etc...?? lease we would know where we stood etc...

I managed to get a whole set of Hamsters which I'm now dishing out to friends from ASDA BOSTON They still had 10 left on the shelf but they're slightly hidden behind a string of items hung up and I had to ask where they were, which might be why they're still there.

They didn't have any other go go pets items though.

Just wanted to let any of you know who is waiting for a wilkinson order of hamsters to store that you should ring up, i ordered mine saturday and no-one has called to say its there so i thought im passing there today i will just ring up and see if its there on the off chance and it is, if your still waiting its worth a call, also my account does not say dispatched!!

I maaged to order car from play.com yesterday. I checked their site this
morning and the status is shown as 'packing'. Do you know if this means
it is in stock and waiting to be despatched. thanks

I have been looking for a hamster for the past 4 days solid and cannot get one anywhere. Tried BPSales? as mentioned on here, ordered and paid for but received message this morning to say they have refunded my money as 'out of stock'. Does anyone thing its worth paying slightly over the odds on the likes of Ebay to get one?
