The delivery yesterday was Hamsters + a few fun houses. The other odd bits and pieces would have been from stock check activity finding a few other bits.

The Add on Playsets were delivered weeks ago to Character and as I say, presently no more expected in the country before Xmas right now.

hi, just to say that I was in argos yesterday(lakeside thurrock) and the person next to me was gettin a playhouse. The manager of argos said that it was the last one and the last one they were expectin before xmas as they have been told not to expect anymore stock.

i think another problem is, some websites are only taking "pre-orders" and do not have the physical stock, so may not even get the items before christmas - very naughty and disappointing to parents, as to play i have had orders on there for months and nothing came of it only to be cancelled in the end.

i agree, ordered DH a book and we never got it, smiths were the same. I waited weeks for a book once and it never came.

I agree- they shouldnt take orders if they havent got the stock ready to go. I phoned up play as I ordered a Chunk when it was showing as in stock (for about 3 minutes) and thought it was all fine, but my order status still says 'order taken'. After speaking to the call centre I am none the wiser as to whether Chunky will make it to me or not. Very annoying.

Well I keep looking on ebay for the ball and would be prepared to pay a bit more for peace of mind etc but not way over the odds and that is what ebay has come down to as amazon, play, other sites the prices have gone up people are cashing in, I reckon in a way if you need it badly then pay not masses but a bit more lessens the looking, petrol, car park, trawling around but don't get caught up in it and pay masses:D

Amazon did it to me took the order the email then the cancellation email and no money taken and littlewoods the same but have taken the money and are stalling keep emailing me with out of stock, no in, no it will come soon by the 4th dec no it won't, should be a simple process, you click, pay, expect the order to be completed end of:rolleyes:

Hi all :hello:, I'm back - hair appointment was cancelled when I was en-route!Nevermind, that's more time to spend on here. I've just had a look at the Toysrus website and the status of expected delivery has changed for a few things including the infamous ball...now says stock due November. Gosh I can hear everyone scrambling to put toysrus back onto their internet explorer tabs for frequent refreshing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yep had the same thing with Amazon with a book? (cant remember) I ordered, they kept giving me new expected delivery dates and in the end cancelled my order - this was Amazon itself as well, not a marketplace order. I would rather they were straight with you and said sos, we haven't got it, at the beginning then at least you have the opportunity to look elsewhere.
