I am obviously in the wrong places at the wrong time!! I can't find anything anywhere - and everything (apart from e-bay) out of stock on line. No where in Basildon today. As above - all signs removed! Boo Hoo Hoo!! Can only get on line when I'm not at work - everything gone by the time I get on. Oh well. Never mind. It's not the end of the world. Still 40-odd days to find bed/carrier/chunk/ball!!!! OMG....who started this??!!!!!

Beds and carriers.................Sainsburys
House........................Hamleys
car...........Toys r us

Im hanging up my hamster hunting shoes.......................well for now anyway!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

That's fab, the supermarkets up here are rubbish...not a hamster in sight (may be just a mouse or two in their stock room though) :rotfl:

One week, good grief, you are extremely lucky! We are all dreaming about bloomin hamsters...

I'm in the North East and as others in my region will testify, we really do seem to be the poor relations stock wise as people are posting on here what they got at some of the main supermarkets and department stores, and when we checked with ours (prior to all the advertising this week) the response was "a go go what???".

I'm lucky because with dogged determination and little sleep or food for a few weeks, I've got everything I need now but with stock now being scarce online, I think that those who have now joined the hunt up here are going to have an extremely tough time finding anything.

To be fair, I only really started looking yesterday. I was going to get them for my daughter's birthday in October - I was falling over them in the shops. Then she decided she wanted them for Christmas.

I have a funhouse ordered from Tesco, garage from Argos, and I'm hoping to get a hamster. If I find anything else - bonus, if not she'll still be happy and we can get the rest in january.

I don't think argos is able to get their lorries up in this direction - must be too far to travel. All three items in argos have been out of stock at all the local branches for ages
