As previous post - I opened 3 in the branch today - (already have a websaver account) when asked why I wanted 'em - I said to collect the fivers. She put down on the form......................to pay bills:rotfl:

(had intended to do them on line but was half asleep and blew my password - still waiting a new one)

It seems a bit crazy to allow us to open 3 though I already have 2 but how can anyone explain why they want more? I'd have another one just to get the extra £5 a month but I feel silly asking for another. They might stop the £5 a month or they might start charging for bank accounts at some stage. I opened my extra one by phone I didnt know you could do it online?
    Thanx

Why feel silly - its sensible - its another £60 a year net. Go for it !!!
Think of it as a bonus for the shoe fund :D

    Before November 1st.
That is when the T+Cs change to allow only one sole and one joint reward account per person.
3 accounts with £1000 a month credited to each gives you £180 a year.
Very easy to apply online after logging in to your account.

    £180 a year for 3 - even more shoes.

November the change the rules to allow only 1 sole & 1 joint account - so get 3 whilst you can

Wow glad I asked, should I apply online or by phone? does this mean the account has to be funded before November 1st or just applied for as my papers only came through today and that took a little while from when I applied for my 2nd account. They have sent me papers to sign before I can fund the account.

By the way my maths skills are not doing very well today :) I knew it was wrong somehow thanks for correcting me
    Thanx

Do you not have a local branch you can go to - you can set it up and fund it at the same time?
