We some times get similar sounding stains..
Usually anti bac wipes every day is good at reducing them . and regular cleaning!
We have very chalky sort of water here , we are on a hill!
Try anti bac wipes every other day or so..
Also when u clean lift things up to clean under/around it , this helps with the dust , also if you hover in a room by the bathroom just do what i do , run the nozzle around the bathroom , seems to help loads aswell
Hope that helps!!

Antibac wipes every day  not very moneysaving! A damp cloth seems to remove them so I should think that would keep them at bay, also I have tried hoovering the bathroom, but it only works for the floor - there are 3 adults in this house and the dust/grime is always damp so it clings to the surfaces. Can't lift up the sink, toilet and bath to clean underneath them either!I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right0 -
just a tip when using the new grot buster that is supposed to clean your tiles don't forget to rince it off I forgot and had lovely shinny tiles and long brown marks down my bath that i can't get off now:mad:0

I have this problem and it isn't due to lack of cleaning altough I don't do as often as should! Best thing I've found is Dettox mould and mildew. Spray it on, leave it and then rinse off. Not very money saving but quick and it works. It does contain bleach which I am sensitive to so open windows, spray, run. Once smell worn off just rinse surface.
I use an ecloth for glass - is fab - no cleaner needed0 -

i get those stains too - ive always assumed its iron in the water? i hoover the bathroom before cleaning, to get all the fluff/dust/hairs away as i was sick of spending ages trying to clean the bathroom and all i really felt like i was doing was moving hairs about the place!! i do it first thing in the morning, before anyone has showered, and therefore the surfaces are nice and dry (on a saturday, i wouldnt be getting up at 5am during the week to do it haha!!). i even do the tiles like this too!!xx0

I just slosh a lot of hot bleachy water over everything, dry clean and then wash the floor.0

Hi there
I also have the staining problem and am also in an area of limescale. I find the best thing is to use a solution of warm water and white vinegar but make sure you rinse well afterwards. You can also use this on chrome - but nothing plated or it will bring it off!!! The key is the rinsing. Be careful using bleach - this can lead to damaging of the seals in the wastes which will cause leaks. Also, mold and mildew remover sometimes removes the silicone used to seal the bathroom, so again be careful just how long you leave it on for.
I find a solution of car windscreen wash great for cleaning windows and glass but I also have problems with dust and just use a damp cloth on a regular basis to try and keep on top of it.
Hope this helps!:oDawnie :j0 -
That pink stuff is a kind of mold. I think Dettol's remover is the best I've tried, although you could also fill an old spray bottle with a solution of bleach and water.:beer:0

I find most bathroom cleaners get rid of the stains, I get them all the time, my water is pretty hard... never used to get it when I lived in a different area.0

As for the dust use a few clothes and keep changing the water. One lot to get the most off then a second wipe should do it then over with a dry soft cloth non lint should remove any excess.
As for the stain i haven't any experience with these at all so could only say really to keep them down swish and swipe daily to see if it helps?
For your windows and mirrors, use a wash leather and warm water with a little washing up liquid and white vinger they gleam afterwards. When i moved in this house my windows were shocking. I used the above solution then went over with water with a capful of methylated spirits (don't breath in lol) my windows looked fab and the rain just runs off.
Tile once you have scrubbed them up and got them clean, when cleaning the bathroom just rub over them with the window water and leather they will shine like glass xxYou can touch the dust but please don't write in it !
Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?0
