Its not clear why some are getting 66p and 75p deals exactly

I'm om family package and the most I was offered was the £10.50 a month for 3 months. Has anyone on the family package got the 66p or 75p deal?
    Thanx

What do you mean you got no deal so its cancelled?

Oh I see oh thats unfortunate for you, you must have got a bad customer service agent.

Wait for a while because they may ring you rather than you ring them you can change your mind right up to the day before disconnection
    Thanx

Yeah we called asking to cancel to see if we would get a deal but nothing was offered so we had to carry thru and cancel it anyway. It doesnt get disconnected til mid / end June so plenty time to change our minds.

OH now has a task for this afternoon ;) I have been trying to get him to cancel for AGES but he won't. We have the BIG package as he watches sport, I watch a lot of the discovery and that type of channels and so we have the hugest expensive package *sigh* ANY saving as far as I am concerned is groovy :)

I've had a few reduced packages in the past, usually ranging form 40-50% reduction for 3 mths, just phoned up to 'cancel', and have been offered 25% off for 12 months...saving me £108 this year :D :j

In all of your experiences, what's the best time of day to get the best deals ?
Do they use different call centres at different times of day ?
I'm going to cancel if they don't give a good deal.
At the moment, the only reason I've got it is that I don't want to miss "24"
    Thanks

talking of sky deals, anyone managed to haggle the price down on the new fangled Sky HD system they're offering? Its a bit pricey (£300 + £10 extra on top your package each month). Doubt its at all possible to get a discount on this as its so new, but you never know and I just wondered if anyone knows about this stuff. :)

We got the offer today aswell. I think its to do with Sky having no world cup coverage and the 66p - kinda 1966 World Cup promo.

This now means that we are £40 in credit on our account and will be cancelling Sky anyway after the 2 month 66p offer is up.

We are then going for the Sky Sat freeview:

    http://www.freesatfromsky.co.uk/

£20 for a new viewing card and you get more channels (all crap I admit) than freeview.

Dont give them £20. After you cancel, your Sky card becomes a freesat card anyway.
