We got the offer today aswell. I think its to do with Sky having no world cup coverage and the 66p - kinda 1966 World Cup promo.

This now means that we are £40 in credit on our account and will be cancelling Sky anyway after the 2 month 66p offer is up.

We are then going for the Sky Sat freeview:

£20 for a new viewing card and you get more channels (all crap I admit) than freeview.

Yep,but Filmfour is gonna be on freeview from july so that's worth a £16 set top box from the grabbit board alone!

Im going to get hubby to do this today, been sick of Sky just recently. One night it wouldnt work for a whole night and then it decided to turn itself off and now its taken to freezing quite a lot. And with no footie for him (i only like Scottish football anyway and Sky dont have that) that gives us enough reasons to complain.

What phone number is everyone calling??

    Yipee.
Just called to cancel. Stuck to my guns. Financial reasons and not watching movies much.
Offered 66p per month for 2 months .I was just at the end of three months full package for 1/2 price. so delighted with that.
To be honest probably would have cancelled if only offered another half price deal.
Money is very tight at the moment.
  • Tried today, yep 66p for two months, did push for free skybox +,i.e haggled, but no joy, you can also take the 75p option for 3 months if you do not want sports, if your like me pay around the 7th, they will take the months DD,as they have already instructed the bank but refund all minus-66p/75p back to the account...I should imagine the admin costs more than 66p!!!!lol
and they send out paperwork to verify
