Why are some buyers so harsh when leaving feedback..?

I haven't had any cause to leave bad feedback, admittedly I only have 2 but have bought before on an old name I have subsequently lost all details for. But I have sold (through my Dad's account when I was ill) and for me it was OK. I think some people have way too high expectations for stuff that a lot of people do in their spare time to make money.
Whereas when I'm buying, if someone has a legitimate reason for not being able to send it immediately (illness/accidents) then all they have to do is let me know, as that's just common courtesy, isn't it? Or am I expecting people to be polite?** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

I do it all because I'm scared.

I book I sent got soaked through because the postie left it on the doorstep as it wouldn't fit through the letterbox. The packaging was padded but not waterproof!
I had a duplicate book so sent it as a gesture of goodwill.......and the buyer still left me a negative. :mad:0 -
I had my first ever negative the other day. It was a BNWT Hooded top from H&M which was labelle as a medium, so I explained this was size 12/14. the lady that bought it then left a neg feedback saying it didnt fit. When I emailled her asking why she said that she was a large 14 but it didnt fit.

What I hate is when people leva e negative without even contacting you to tell you there is a problem.MFiT -T2 member # 136

Fat people seem to be a common problem - can you block them ?0 -
size 14 is fat?

Anyway Back on topic - I left my first neg today for an item that was never received and no contact after 5 weeks  maybe I'm too patient. Fingers crossed not received any yet, although did expect one after a very rude e-mail I received a few months ago, hwever, that all worked out fine.0 -
Sigh...I left positive feedback today, but a low rating for item as described. It was described as "only worn a couple of times"-it had clearly had a lot more wear than that. It looks pretty well-washed to me, and it's starting to pill. DD loves it anyway, well-washed isn't a terrible look on a fleece and I really can't be bothered to argue. But I was expecting a nearly new item and didn't get one. I don't know why I feel guilty.import this0

Ridiculous isn't it.
Because they've heard that ebay gives out vouchers to screamers?"Love you Dave Brooker! x"
