With the new DSR rules a 1 or 2 in the DSRS could effect sellers far more than a neg would

Cheers, I was unaware of that.

I did consider a neg but she refunded me within a day of realising I wasn't going to be bullied, if she had faffed around or made me wait for a refund I would have definitely negged.

I have been pretty lucky with feedback, It does bug me when I have really gone out of my way and either none gets left or its brief.
I recently sold something, It ended Sunday night and he payed straight away and sent a message saying he needed it asap so I posted it out on Monday morning (had to sneak out of work;)) AND I realised I had over estimated a bit on the postage so refunded him £1 on that.

I heard nothing at all from him then yesterday (3 weeks later) he left me feedback. It read...... a  that was it!

Sorry went all ranty then :o

I think it's crazy that people can neg for something that's in the listing, but no doubt if ebay were to police it they'd just charge even more.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

I find voodoo dolls quite therapeutic when it comes to 'dealing' with neg f/back.

I gave a neg once after I bought an ipod case of a powerseller. Listing looked fine, everything as normal. Stated 3-5 working days postage. Excellent, needed it as a gift so all was good.

Then recieved an email saying 'thanks for your payment, we havent got these in stock at the moment but am expecting them in 2 weeks so will ship then'. It wasnt even a buy it now but an auction!

I asked for a refund as this wasnt in the listing and he got arsey saying its not his fault he doesnt keep everything in stock???

Eventually he refunded and I negged. Then got a barage of emails asking why the neg and its not fair etc etc etc. I dared him to leave a follow up but surprisngly he never did...

  • A couple of mine that annoyed me....

One said they paid more postage than it cost me (about 10p lol), how on Earth would I know to the penny how much it would cost to send it!

Another was annoyed that jeans didn't fit them, with jeans I list every possible measurements, it's not my fault you didn't check they would fit!

One complained that the item didn't arrive within a couple of days, well in ALL my listings I state that I post the following Saturday, if they weren't happy with this then don't bid on the item!

The item, the buyer claims, was broke when he opened the packaging and left a neg for that, and also claimed I overcharged on shipping, conveniently forgetting that he also has to pay for the packaging too! He only took notice of the price of the stamp.

Oh, and he had the balls to re-list the item I sent him, himself, so how this fella could try and even think of getting a refund is beyond me.

So they were lying about it being broken??
