  • Just a quick one (i'm going to contact the lady who i have been assigned today). When you do a community book pledge - do you just contact the local companies and ask them to buy anything from 1 book upwards and then say its for your nominated school ?

Get a letter from the school explaining what you are doing and that is pretty much it! Good luck!
Don't look at me, I'm irrelevant.
  • I think last day is next Thursday. Mrs MW do you want to pm me the name of your upline and I'll see if I know them and have all their details for you? Seems like a long time for them to go without contacting you?
Don't look at me, I'm irrelevant.
  • Fab stuff MrsMW.

Lovely here! Qualified already this month so happy, happy!

  • Hi All . . Me (again - I hear you say)

Something has just sprung to my mind - If I sell from my initial stock that Usborne sent me, then how do i pay for it ??

You get to keep every single penny, those are your books.

    Oh Lordy (me again)

I am panicing like mad - I have got an order (my first order) on hold as i'm just waiting on one more customer, however, this morning I have changed my password and now its not letting me in on either one . . Do I just phone customer services ??

Phew, panic over, a quick call to them sorted it out !!

Let me guess...you changed your password to one that is more than 6 letters long?
Don't look at me, I'm irrelevant.
  • LOL, it's a common mistake. When choosing a password it lets you enter more than 6 letters, but only recognises the first six. You were not the first person to do it!!!!

  • Tell her that you are feeling alone, and would like a bit more support. Some recruits don't want any contact at all, and it is quite hard for the recruiter to know what level of contact you want.

Personally I tell recruits what I do (weekly contact through their FS period and then after that it is up to them to contact me) and we can negotiate from there. The problem is if you contact a recruit and they don't want it - you get 'I left Usborne because my upline was so pushy' Pushy and supportive is a fine line.

Just let her know how you feel and go from there. If you still have problems then go to their upline, which you can view on your genealogy.

  • We had arranged for her to contact me but snce then I havent heard anything.

I don't want to go behind her back but I do need some support as there is only so much reading the information on the site. I did make it clear that I was very happy to speak with her and speaking to her was a boost for me.

On the other hand, I do hope that everything is ok with her and wouldn't like to charge in there, like a bull in a china shop.

I will email her again and ask if everything is ok with her.
    How have you got on?
