  • No, no contact what-so-ever . . Am I allowed to ask for a different 'recruiter' or does it not work like that - had an awful time lately, been in an accident and the hubby having probems with his van . . I am going to do it no matter what obstacles are put in front of me !!

You can't change without leaving and rejoining unfortunately. What I would do is go to the DE (Emma, Tracy, Sally, Kate, Pete, Sue, Judy or Gill) in your genealogy and tell them how unhappy you are with lack of contact. Be specific with dates. Your recruiter earns from your sales so they should be helping you.
  • Yes Caroline - were usborne sisters! I dont have a sister so thats kind of nice, lol.
  • Hello Jo! Welcome to the wonderful world of Usborne!! I'll let you know as soon as you are on the system :j

    Hi Lisa and Caroline

Yes you both guessed who it was

For any perspective Usborners looking at this thread - not only do you get to sell a great product, but you get the chance to party like you've never partied before - and go on fab holidays!
And watch Deal or No Deal while unpacking yummy boxes of new books!
You also make some great friends!
There are so many areas that can be targeted for sales - I don't think I could list them on an A4 sheet of paper, the world is your lobster (sorry wrong crustation!)

Now I know there is a thread - I'll keep popping in and help you all as much as poss!

    Xxx

Looking to increase income - wondering about Usborne rep

I already work part-time, but could I fit this in too?

Honest pros and cons of joining Usborne

Why Usborne better than other direct selling companies?

    thanks

I think they are better because the support from head office is great, lots of training, good commission structure 24% upwards, great incentives, members of the DSA and been around for decades.

But the best things are the books, they are the best so that makes them easy to sell, children's books are historically recession proof. Schools will always have money to spend so there will always be a market for us. Compare us to smellies, kitchen products, cards or candles - do they have the potential to do sales of £1000's in an afternoon?

I've done Body Shop, Kleenezee and Aromatherapy stuff before Usborne so have been about a bit. I've been with Usborne since 2006 and love it. Won't ever leave!

Oh and it's £20.10 for a kit with over £100 worth of books in it which you get to keep.

and there are no monthly or weekly targets to hit, so you can work as much or as little as you want. Ideal if you have children and another job!

If you have a passion for the product, then you'll do well :D The great thing about Usborne is that it is totally flexible with no sales targets, so you can really fit it around your part-time work. It's a very low start up cost for a business too.

  • Hi, I'm a now officially no longer an Usborne Representative as I failed to meet the £100 requirement between September and December.

I have two boxes of books that I am desperate to get rid off - I've already tried doing Christmas fetes etc but unfortunately in my area there are a lot of Usborne representatives already established. I need to get shot of these books as we don't have much storage space as it is!

If anyone is interested in buying them from me I'm will to sell them at half RRP. I can provide a list of books to anyone who is interested. Located in Gosport. Would prefer them to go in one lot.

Please message me if you are interested - I'm getting desperate now!!
