It put me off too- then I found out why they charge this- I think it seems to make them reliable- ie they pay you cashback when its due and don't leave you hanging for months on end/forget to pay it full stop! If I'd have just joined quidco to begin with I'd have saved myself a small fortune!!0 -

The only thing to say in favour of WPT is that you can get 3% offline cashback from a variety of high street retailers like Superdrug, Halfords, Dorothy Perkins, Little Chef and Cineworld by registering your debit and credit card details with them. I'm not aware of other cashback sites that do this (apart from Greasy Palm, which appears to be run by the same people on a different business model, and with lower cashback rates). These offline transactions do seem to become payable after several months.
If you regularly spend in these stores, this could be a little extra bonus, but I would not recommend using WPT as your main online cashback site.
Please tell me if I'm wrong but hasn't the Little Chef been wound up??Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

Just thought I'd post this, since I did mention it in my last past on here.
To close your account all you need do is send them a message saying you wish to close it. The closing of the account was the quickest enquiry they ever dealt with!

good riddance0 -

I'm still waiting for them to resolve two claims - the oldest from February. Will probably never see the money but I'll keep chasing them up until I do.0 -

Like others. WPT seemed to start great and i remeber the pot of money lottery.
now the site is in bits. half the links dont work. accounts closed for no reason.
i wont be using again. they can keep the £7 odd thats in my account they prob would anyway. If i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.0 -
I haven't been paid for four transactions totalling £85 dating back to Jan 09
Also one transaction last year appeared (tracked) the next day on my statement after clicking through a merchant and then disappeared from my statement a few hours later and never reappeared again. I have never experienced a CB site like this one.
Like others have mentioned they were fine at the start when I joined thats why I made those four transactions with the belief they would pay the commision in due course.
I won't get a penny, I know that but I would advise people to use the many other CB sites available offering better CB rates anyway. What an ironic name they call themselves? With a little bit of luck we can make it through the night!0
