I agree with most of the posters above. The site when it first opened was good, and they even had a pot where money they couldn't pay out was collected, and a draw was made each month, and given to a user who won.

However since then they have gone down hill. I finally had an item marked as paid after over a year of hounding them about it, along with all their 'promises'. I selected for my payment of just under £40 to be made via the amazon route as I need to buy a few xmas pressies and they offer 5% on top for payments via that route. However it shows I was paid on 1st October, but when following their guide which states the voucher code will be in my account history, but I have been unable to locate it. So yet another ticket raised to find out where my voucher code is as their help sections offers no other advice.

Once i get this payout I will no longer use them. Haven't used them in over a year since I've been chasing my missing payment. Also their cashback rates are terrible.

I just keep with quidco from now on. For over 4yrs it hasn't caused me many problems.

  • I will NEVER EVER use Wepromise-to cashback site. They deleted my account for no reason - and I was still to receive about £100 cashback - I've send them lots of messages, however they are of no help

After 3 months wait, I got £90 earlier this year from Lloyds TSB for home insurance (less my £5 annual fee). I am still waiting for £25 from Esure car insurance for Sep 08 and £20 for Homebase pets insurance for Dec 08. These both still show as 'validated'. When I queried it, I was told it is because Esure has not paid up yet. My policy has now expired and needless to say, I didn't use Wepromiseto or Esure when I renewed!

I am due payment for other transactions, less (of course), this year's £5 admin fee. As they are below the £25 payout limit without the above cashbacks, I may be waiting a long time!
  • The £0.02 daily payments seem to go in without problem, but I am still waiting for £70 owed to me from the start of the year. Recently they tried to fob me off with a lower amount (which didn't match any of the cashback amounts in the history of that particular company). So even though they admit I am due a payment and I can prove what that payment is (using information from their own web site), I am still waiting for a response.

They say they are "chasing it", but I don't see how that can take so long - either I am due it or I am not. They say that they sometimes have to wait until the end of the period in which you can cancel the insurance, but nine months is ridiculous! Since this seems to happen often, how come the average payment time is listed in the order of 1-2 days for most cashbacks? I think this is a lie!

Charged me admin fee twice, claimed to have paid me when they hadn't, basically didn't want to know when I complained. AVOID

Just an update. I have got a reply to my query above. Our beloved fiona has stated

"There has been a delay in us receiving the codes this month, we are currently chasing them up. As soon as we receive them then we will add them to your account and email you to let you know it is there."

Then why marked it down as paid when they clearly have not??? Surely they should have just e-mailed to confirm there was a delay and the payment would be marked as paid later on in the month when you receive the voucher. They have no understanding of communication do they.

Just want my payment then get rid of them for good. Anybody know how to go about closing an a/c and having your details removed?
