I've been member for about 3 years and apart from a few small gliches, have always been paid (sometimes takes a wee while). I've made about £750 in that time and it's only one of 2 sites that I regularly use. I also find it quite user friendly compared to some sites.

joined up nearly a year ago - I have had several retailers tracked , only to be told I'm not going to be paid out.Problem is I can not raise a ticket until after 120 days and by then they don't want to know and close the ticket.

Lost count of the bingo sites me and the other half have joined and not recieved the cashback.

Won't use them now.

I am a keen money saver and joined Greasy Palm to get cashback. Unfortunately though, I have only had bad experiences from this website. - I was owed over £50 from the site for months and had to threaten legal action to get my money. An outline of the problems I have had is detailed below. I strongly advise everyone to steer well clear of this website.

Problems:
Earned £25 cashback from a couple of offers. Upon getting this amount, according to the website, it should have been transferred into chosen bank account. However, it wasn’t. I contacted GP to query why and their response was that it had to be over £25. I double-checked the website blurb though and it does not mention anything about being more than £25, saying that the money will be transferred ‘once £25 or more is reached’.

I should have earned further cashback following an Amazon purchase via the site, but nothing registered on my account. I left feedback about Amazon’s lack of payment (no swear words, just negative feedback), but it was not published. In fact when I checked just three feedbacks (all positive) had been published for Amazon. I then went to raise a ‘ticket’ for my missing cashback to be looked at/checked, but I was told that tickets for Amazon were unavailable! This meant that there was no way of raising the issue or even trying to get my cashback.

Then to increase my £25 I got my car insurance from MoreThan through the website. I was entitled to a further £25 cashback for this, taking my total (not inc. Amazon’s missing cashback) to £50, which should have definitely been paid into my bank account. However, the cashback was not accredited. I waited the requested time (think it was a month at that time?) and then contacted GP by raising a ticket. The response was that it would be looked at and I was to wait a further 90 days. Then after the 90 days, I received a message saying that they were sorry for the delay. Even later on I received another message saying I wouldn’t get the cashback. There was no explanation.

I contacted MoreThan and they said that I had a policy and there shouldn’t be any issue. I was told to tell GP to contact them and quote my policy number, which I did. GP’s reply was simply that I was advised not to contact retailers directly! They did not look into it again and in fact closed the ticket, marking it as ‘Resolved’ even though it wasn’t.

I re-opened the ticket and said the issue wasn’t resolved and I’d be taking it to someone who knew what they were doing was illegal. My response? I finally got paid the £50 cashback! (Minus Amazon’s).

I spent a lot of time on this and it caused me a lot of stress. I have proof of the ticket conversation and obviously have a MoreThan Insurance Certificate. - My insurance started on 8th June 2008 and I didn’t get my cashback until December 2008!

I even had to raise a ticket for the very first £25 cashback I was owed, but at least they didn’t say I wasn’t owed that/they wouldn’t pay it.

This has been reported to Watchdog and I’d hope anyone else experiencing similar problems would report it too so that Watchdog will air this on TV. I suspect the retailers are paying up and that GP are just keeping all of the money when they can get away with it.

• I too have had a couple of issues with this site , I currently have two " tickets " being checked. I don't really expect any joy from them though . They don't actually fill me with confidence !
• I've had issues as well particularly with car insurance. With one, Privilege, cashback was shown as 'pending' for ages. Then eventually when I didn't actually receive it, I queried it only to be told that because 6 months had elapsed, the payment couldn't be made. Latest one is Insure Pink showing pending for a couple of months now.

Also was paid an Amazon voucher whilst I was away. Didn't notice it and subsequently found it had only 2 months validity and was cancelled.

I shan't be using this site again.

This is the only cashback site i have ever resigned from and i am signed up to 14 sites. Very low cashback rates and although i have always received my cashback ok i do not have confidence in the bigger cashback offers for Bingo, Insurance etc

I got £20 CB and £20 free play from Gala Bingo and it's been paid out. Also got £30 for private insurance policy - waiting for payout though

In earlier years Greasypalm seemed to pay up most, but not all, earned cashback. This year, however, they have failed to pay out on several Bingo related sites and owe each member of my family £80 in unpaid cashback. The number of times cashback on even minor amounts has not been paid has soared. Despite having my correct bank details, their payout in August failed to reach my bank and was allegedly returned to them, though the bank say they have no trace of receiving anything from them in the first place. It took several tickets to get it recredited to my account and then have had to wait until October for them to pay it out again. Despite them saying it went out on October 1st, two weeks later it has not reached my account and my bank are again saying they never received it. I found an email on another forum for their Neil Durrant (neil@greasypalm.com) and, although he finally responded to the Bingo related fiasco by saying we would not receive our money, he has failed to respond to my email about this missing payment. I have now taken my purchasing elsewhere and would advise avoiding Greasypalm altogether. Other forums on Moneysaving Expert record similar experiences with them by other members.

I was awarded an Amazon voucher on October 1st but although two weeks have passed the voucher code hasn't appeared under the "payment info" section, instead I just get a message saying "voucher code awaited".

It has NEVER taken this long before!

Anyone else still waiting on a Greasypalm Amazon voucher code? Are Greasypalm about to go under?

Further to my message number 18 above, although Mr Durrant has still not replied to my (now 2) emails on the subject of the missing payment, a ticket response says they have recredited the payment to my account (for the second time) and they will pay it next month (for the third attempt). There has been no argument or info on why it has not gone through twice already and, like Fallen121 above, I have my suspicions. IF I get it in November, it will then be three months overdue.
