Hi all! I've sold something on ebay for more than expected (£85 - I expected £20) :j but I've only quoted £7.00 for P&P. The item weighs 2.6kg boxed and measures 32cm x 27cm x 19cm. I've looked at myhermes, parcels2go, parcel monkey and parcels please and the cheapest appears to be myhermes at £8.21 with up to £100 insurance.

Has anyone seen any other offers, or am I just going to have to swallow the loss?! (OK, so it's only £1.21, but...... well, you know!)
LOL! You've just made an extra £65 you didn't expect - I'm sure a few extra quid on postage won't hurt!!

hope someone can help ;) i need two items collecting(velux window and flashing kit) and dimentions are 124cm x 131cm x 17cm weight 50kg . the other parcel is 175cm x 50cm x 12cm at just 8kg in weight . its the 50kg parcel thats the cruncher as i cant find a quote less than £50 and that was from gwizz .
its odd as i had a much heavier item(fridge freezer) collected and delivered last year by gwizz for £27 so why is this velux window so expensive . would phoning gwizz get me a cheaper quote than the online quote i got or is there a cheaper company out there !
For the 50Kg one try https://www.parcel.to and the other probably https://www.interparcel.com or https://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk

No, it's not so bad - as I say, it's only £1.21:) however, this is MSE;):money:
Anyway, I've gone with Collect+ and so far so good - I'll keep my fingers crossed that things go smoothly.

I always want the best possible price on postage - if I can get significantly lower postage than I've quoted, then I refund the excess to the buyer. So it's a win/win - both myself and the buyer benefit:). Good for seller ratings too;)

Anyone else coming across surcharges for London deliveries while the Olympics are on? :( (ParcelForce via DespatchBay, +£1)

  • Are there any of these brokers that will allow you to drop the package off at the carriers depot rather than collect? Preferably using parcel force or DHL as they are more convenient!
    Thanks

Not sure if l am understanding your post, if you asking what l think you are, l would use Parcel Force via Top Cashback, £3 cash back per parcel and if you use the 15% discount code also even more saving, and you save an extra £1 if you drop it off at the post office.
