    www.parcel2ship.co.uk

Had a newsletter from these chaps offering a discount equal to the new VAT rate of 20% on EU parcels booked on weekends in January.
Going to their website it doesnt mention the discount or give any codes but if you look on their "courier" newspaper then go to their facebook page it emerges that the code is VatfreeJanuary for this weekend - suppose it might change next weekend.
As the UK is in the EU this should apply to UK deliveries.
This isnt a recommendation to use them but they have a contact phone number and contracts with decent couriers.

Hi - i just sent something on Saturday via https://www.parcel2go.com
They were here on time and I thought their pricing very competitive. I paid for a DHL courier at a fraction of the price than if I had gone straight to DHL
  • Sorry if this is a foolish question, but if I use DHL via parcel2go (for a 15kg parcel) does that meet Paypal requirements for tracking etc?

any one help with couple questions..

are these couriers strict on sizes anyone know??

booked a collection for tomorrow with city link and when i read the email it was on about best packaging and i wasn't happy with mine so i reboxed the parcel into another box and now its about 10 cm longer that original.. rest are ok as id over quoted..

also the label they gave me to print was just the address label, will they have there own barcode labels to stick on when collected as how will tracking work otherwise..

i presume they give me a collected letter with a ticker on?? (for proof of colelction??

    thanks

So long as this is a UK destination parcel and you have not exceeded the maximum size the courier will take 10cm should not be cause for concern.
Re the label - did you book this direct with citylink or through a reseller?

yea its uk, the box is only like 40 X 40 X 40 cm. i did a check on a new quote and put the new sizes in and it didnt alter the price either..

booked it via a reseller.. they just gave me a grey label with the address on

Different resellers might work different ways. I've only ever used ParcelMonkey for Citylink and their address label has barcodes on them. A long time ago the address labels didnt have citylink barcodes on them and Citylink used to put a barcode label on when collected and leave you same barcode so if your reseller isnt fully linked to citylink this is probably what will happen - whose the reseller?
