    Ive had a few sales, but not a great deal. Seems to be getting busier. Why not email everyone you know with the details of the site, the more people that know about it the better!

    just a quick update

    got my a&l account approved, so awaiting papers, will be putting all house ddebits and OH contribution into that account so i can see clearly the money available for my debts and how i go about getting rid of them.

    cap one balance not cleared yet - can't wait to cancel that card. paid off another £250 on my b'card (a cheque for some work that I did came in, all went into ccard payment).

    turned down an audition for a debt consolidation advertisement. it was a real dilemma as i would have been paid a fair sum to do it, but i thought that i didn't want to be selling a message i didn't believe in (especially with my own debt staring me in the face), so i said no. i feel proud of myself for that.

    so things are moving along slowly, but surely.

    1800! Thats pennies compared to what they are bringing in. Bet CV gets more than that. Well done, I dont think i would have been that strong. Or at least I would have started a discussion thread on it first lol

    Very commendable. Personally I would have turned it on it's head & gained some perverse pleasure from the fact I was taking money off a debt mangement company rather than giving it to them! The full £1800 would have gone straight onto debt repayment.

    Yep - cancel it ASAP. Chances are if you tried to claim they'd find a way around it anyway, and if you *do* decide that you want insurance to cover it (but its not really worth it anyway imho), there are much cheaper options out there!
    Highest Debt (Sept 04) -> £41,300 :(

    you're soooo right. i'm covered by other insurance for those eventualities anyway, so don't need to be double insured. and to think i only just noticed!!
