  • First of all, i'd like to say congratulations to everybody else who won, and is going on this holiday!

All four members of my family entered this competition, and none of us won. We was all on the leaderboard, my Dad was even top-Cabbie, (and i appreciate that the leaderboard position doesn't count, we found this out after playing in the T&Cs, damn game haha!). As so many people entered i still didn't expect to win, so this wasn't a surprise.

But then my boyfriend won the competition, which he only registered for and played 1 level, so we found it a complete fluke! We had to give up the prize as theres two of us- and we're only 18. Its unfortunate as our birthdays are the week before and after the holiday, so it was quite upsetting to win, then have to give it up!

But i thought i'd comment to say to some of the other people on here that didn't win, or are complaining about the change in the T&Cs, we had to give up our place. I completely understand why, as it is aimed at children, but i thought mention that not everybody got away with the changes! Also, for the people asking about selling a place so couples can take a child, its not really fesable. My boyfriend asked about taking a child that wasn't related to him, and the woman at Ford said you'd need a copy of the childs and parents passport, a letter of consent from the parent and another form of the parents ID, and then the address of the parent/child. Its just so much hassle!

But everybody going, have a fantastic time :)!
  • (...and sorry, to add on)

I forgot to say that i didn't read the terms and conditions, and nor did any of my family. I feel really foolish now, so anybody saying about not having an under 12 shouldn't have entered-i respect this, but i never bother to read a page of conditions! (As it said 'up to 4' on the main page i thought this would be okay).

But i will read every competition terms and conditions from now on, i assure you!

    Evening all.

As I've detailed above, I had planned to take my 2 young cousins if I won this competition when I entered. Since then, my cousins are booked to go on a school trip that they are still going to go on. I don't know any other under 12's, but would like to help someone else benefit from my win.

I was wondering if anyone has a spare place on their form to put in an adult
to enable my friend to travel to Disney with me. I would love to take my friend as she's had a tough year. If I can get this, I would love it if a parent and child who didn't win could come as 2 extras on my form. If I can't get this, I will tell Ford I will forfeit my prize.

Please PM me if you are interested.
  • I have booked my flight to Beauvais Airport and have checked all the shuttle companies on Disney forum (link posted earlier), the shuttle buses are too far apart, sometimes a couple of hours, so I checked for shared shuttle service and found RS Transport cheapest at 199.50 Euro return.

Also best Euro exchange rate for outside London is Tesco pick up from store.

PS I also got annual family worldwide travel insurance through Moneysupertmarket.com and took out with GetMy.com as it gave best cover for a princely sum of £45.30 :D

No not yet, it does say in the terms and conditions to expect it approximately 7 days before the event

ah thanks for that clairelou, i didnt spot that, my partner still thinks its a con and having not received the pack was making it worse!!! lol...
  • I have just received an email saying I am a reserve winner with this. My daughter is 14 though. Does anyone know if we could take her and no other children? I've emailed them but they havent got back to me yet. I'll have to find an under 12 from somewhere if not!

beverly, I dont think so as they have already changed the terms and conditions to say that at least 1 must be under 12. I would ring them, they are very helpful and friendly
