  • Hi
Yes - Euro's are the currency in France. 250 Euros's is a lovely help but quite a bit extra will be needed me thinks!!

  • To the party on the Saturday night? I take it it will be outside so do we just wrap up warm as opposed to worrying about fashion???

    Many thanks

Well I was but then I suddenly had this thought today that maybe 'Party' mean't 'Party' and that I needed to dress for a 'Party'! LOL!!
  • Hi people, the 250 euros is in disney money- like vouchers- and not accepted in every restaurant (not in ludwigs, rainforest or planet hollywood). We had quite a bit left over and had a mad spending spree in the disney shops before we left. I'd take a bit of cash for toll roads if driving and emergencies but you shouldn't need much, it depends how much you eat and drink!
The VIP party is really just a free for all in the tomorrowland bit of the park, lots of characters around and no queues, my kids were getting off space mountain and running round to get straight back on again. The food was just from the fast food counters so not the posh buffet I was expecting! There was a great firework display to end the night too, behind the castle, it was magical. Just wrap up warm!

Has anyone received there winners pack yet?

  • No not yet - cutting it a bit fine aren't they?
  • Don't worry, last year it only came 4 days before we went! Maybe they're still selecting reserve winners!!
  • Our family are also one of the lucky winners. I e-mailed Ford on 23rd October asking about their contingency plans in light of the postal strike.

    This is their response,

"Your final winners pack will not be delivered until 7-10 days prior to departure, we will therefore have to address the situation nearer to the departure date.

If we do feel that there is going to be a problem then the details will be sent to you by recorded delivery."

    Still a tad nervous though!
