So let me get this straight - due to people ignoring the T&C's in the first place and now have won, they've changed the T&C's to suit? How is that fair? I didn't enter specifically because of the 2 x under 12 rule. I'm not bitter/jealous as we've been before and it would be impossible to go as other things planned but that doesn't exactly seem fair to the others who didn't enter out of respect for the T&C's. What's the point in having them if they can just change them?
I really do hope you all have a good time but doesn't seem like a fair system to me.
Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
    I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T

    I agree with you isitenough.
My kids would have absolutely adored going to Disney as my daughter is princess mad. I always search for disneyland comps as we just can't afford to take her, but I too specifically didn't enter this one because the terms clearly stated that 2 children needed to be under 12.

As the terms have now been altered, I could have entered!!!

Doesn't really seem fair to me.
I love reading about people's wins on here, but this one has left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth.

I have to agree with the posters above I am always pleased to hear of wins on MSE. I post comps on here and enter comps on here myself and reading about all the wins really boosts my days.

However, I am disappointed to hear that Ford have now changed the T&Cs for this competition to suit winners who appear not to have read or ignored the T&Cs in the first place.

Surely we as competition entrants are responsible for checking T&Cs to ensure that comps suit our family circumstances before we enter and its seems unreasonable to go ahead and enter regardless and then blame the promoter if we are lucky enough to win and the prize doesnt suit.

It seems very unfair to those who now could have entered, but didn't as they respected the original T&C's. I have teenage children so this comp would not have been suitable for me either way. However, I feel for those familys who have missed out because they played fair.
Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Birmingham Childrens Hospital caring for my tiny and very poorly grandson who was born at 29 weeks. Thanks to them he is getting a little stronger every day.:A:A:A

I entered this comp but didn't win. :(
My children are aged 8 and 5, so we satisfied the original entry criteria.
If anyone who has won is unable to go, I'd be really grateful if you would consider passing on your win.

Well done to all winners anyway. Hope you have a great time. :T
I really can't feel bitter or jealous as we've only just returned from a holiday win. x

I must say-I too would be over the moon if someone couldn't go and would be so kind as to pass the tickets on. Like I said, my daughter is princess mad but we could never afford to take her to Disney.

    Thanks

I have a spare place for a child in my 4 if anyone is still struggling with wanting to take more than 2 :j
  • I have won also, and have been following this thread with interest as am struggling to find a child under 12 to take. Would be happy to offer the place to a family wanting to take more than 2 children. We will be getting the park passes for sat/sun if that helps. :)

Well done to all the winners.

Please be careful with this if you're a larger family tempted to add one or two of your children onto someone else's party. The rooms only sleep 4 so, even if you can add other children onto someone else's booking, have you thought about where everyone is going to sleep.

To the winners who haven't even got one under 12 to take, I'm sorry but I think you were wrong to enter this.
