Good morning everyone.
The post i placed at 3.28pm yesterday is the most relevant and explains the situation clearly. We have no spinners and the picture has been removed from the site. We have stock of a shoulder bag which was featured as a second item on the page showing the spinner, clearly causing confusion so i had this removed too as it was apparent that people were ordering this instead thinking they were getting a spinner. If you have ordered one of these and need to return it for a full refund please follow the instructions on the reverse of the delivery note when you receive it. We have now cancelled all orders where we have not been able to fulfill and have send a letter or e-mail to confirm this. We only debit cards at the point of despatch so as we didn't despatch we didn't debit so you should all find your accounts in order. In terms of site security we are 100% safe and secure and as part of one of the leading retail groups in the UK you can shop with confidence. We are here to sell products cheaply to clear stocks that's it, we have no hidden agendas or anything like that, where we have been out of stock it's been because of a mistake and we have used all these experiences to learn from and hopefully improve our service. In terms of communication i am conducting a review of how and when we communicate in light of all your comments. One word of caution though when posting links to our site - Please do not post links from your order confirmation page, i.e don't copy the whole URL from your broswer. The order confirmation page URL is personal to you and could contain some of the personal details we need to process your order. We have put a process in place to spot these links coming in to the server but it relys on us knowing which link has been posted as every order has a unique confirmation page and link ID. Please only post links from product pages.

My status said the same yesterday, today its cancelled, my guess is if it doesn't say dispatched now you're out of luck

I need a red spinner to complete our set, would anyone be interested in selling theirs for £25 + £5 for p+p or I can collect in the North East (or around Manchester this weekend) and give you the full £30

You may as well buy it from EBay as mentioned at the beginning of this thread as someone is selling these for £25+£13 postage (and this is not me just in case!!)

Could they at least get on with it and change the status to cancelled and/or send us an email! We can then get on with the moaning to all and sundry and vow never to touch them with the proverbial bargepole etc.

Could someone with a software company please sell outfits like this and phones4U a decent ordering and stock checking system.

Also, I notice that this lot of jokers are from Manchester and phones4U from Liverpool - what is it with Lancashire??

So it looks like this ones gone bad ho humm, never mind (although I was looking forward to it as I need some new luggage).

I kind of agree with JPR though, it looks like theres a mint to be made out their if you could sell a decent stock reporting system!

I work in IT for a retailer though and there's always 101 reasons why you have to give systems "flexibility" which can end up letting ignorant users make mistakes like the one we've seen here. Still it is amazing that there seems to be a chronic inability to report an exact stock figure to your webpage \ ordering system. Even the great Amazon has troubles, I ordered something on their supersaver delivery which was in stock when I ordered it, but out of stock by the time they came to pick it 3 days later.....
