    Refreshing to see Discount2Door have someone actually interacting with customers here. I was tempted with the case, but decided against it having experienced their out of stock/non-communication situation last year.

    Perhaps Alex could look into the question of site security - I read (here or DVD forums?) that someone had been able to see another persons details on the checkout page - and rang them and discovered the other person could see their details too.

    That would be another thing to put me off using them I'm afraid.

    Perhaps the representative from D2D can answer 'Why do you have a stock level indicator on your website if your stock system cannot indicate an out of stock?'. My friend runs an internet website and they cannot tell if they are out of stock at the moment but they don't have an indicator on their website which looks to the customer as though the stock levels are monitored online. It is plainly misleading! My biggest gripe was the fact that D2D managed to cancel orders easily and quickly enough (in the case of the Karcher affair) yet couldn't manage to send out a simple email to notify attempted customers of this fact. At least make it clear on the website that when your system says 'In Stock' it could easily mean 'Not In Stock'!

    Well I'm confused. I ordered the Graphite 66cm spinner last night and it appeared that I had the last one in stock as it was showing as delivery of three weeks on the website after placing my order.

    My order said that mine was in stock and would be delivered next Tuesday. Now I am wondering how I will know if this was successful or not. I have not received a canx email and am damned if I'm going to give them even more of my details just to be able to track my order online.

    Can anyone shed some light on this for me please??

  • First time ive actually been able to go for one of the offers and now it looks like ive been done!
    Just ordered two spinners and looked like they had some in stock. now from the post from D2D it looks like im not getting any spinners - can they confirm therefore that my order will be cancelled and that i wont be charged on my credit card? I dont want the shoulder bag instead. No confirmation email yet but the final order page confirmed two spinners with the code number of the shoulder bags!!
    D2D - can you confirm what will happen please?

  • their webpage list the case twice at two different prices but when you go to order the £13 one it says its a shoulder bag...has anyone else noticed this or has it just changed recently...i think i have just bought a useless shoulder bag!!
  • I ordered my case on Tuesday and had all the confirmation emails. Havent recieved the case yet, but havent received an email to say i wont get it either. "my order" says product details unavailable. What does that mean??

    I ordered a spinner and shoulder bag in red at 15:30 Tue, these arrived yesterday and are beutiful cases :D

    My girlfriend ordered a further case at 17:30 which has not arrived, the status page said package or parcel(??) status not available yesterday, today it says Order cancelled >:(

    One out of two ain't so bad - sorry to those who got nothing
