hob, your cat sounds so cute and loving! Hope you're hanging in there and you get some advice how to handle the situation and what to tell Craig. I read somewhere (here? another thread?) that you're knitting socks - wow, I'm so impressed! I wish I were that good at knitting. :T:T:T

I LOVE cosy slipper socks/bed socks - what a lovely idea for a pressie!:T I can do knit and purl and the basics but am not that good. Have never used double pointed needles or anything though. I'll check out that thread and see if I could attempt it - thanks a million!

Glad you've had a boost and are feeling good - I've been telling my ex about you (he is asking around about games) and we think you're just lovely and fab! He had been given an X-box and would have given it to you if you didn't already have one but being a geek he's already taken it to bits and has put Linux on it and he's not sure if it's working now!:rotfl:
Just out of interest - what are you hoping Santa will bring you? A punch-bag and boxing gloves or more pillows maybe?:D

I haven't read through the entire thread, but you need to get your benefits sorted. Even if you have a support worker for your brother, you'll still be caring for him more than 30 hours, so you're entitled to carers allowance. Other than that, see your JC+ advisor and get changed from JSA to Income Support (if I'm right in assuming that working would mean you wouldn't be able to care for him to the best of your ability).

There's loads of gift ideas on here for pennies. Also keep an eye out for freecycle - no doubt you'll be able to pick up a few things on there - especially a cooker. You should also go and put in a budgeting loan form (see JC+ advisor) for a loan for a cooker, if you can't get one from freecycle or somewhere free. Alternatively, if you live in a council house/flat the council may be able to rent one to you.
If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!

    Hi Hob

Glad to see you in good spirits :) Your comment about the tree up our skirts reminded me of a funny christmas card I got years ago about beautiful fairy on top of the tree, grinning from ear to ear because of the tree up her skirt! :rotfl:

We have two cats, brothers, called Woody and Pip.We renamed Pip from Pinky (heavens knows... he's a black cat with white socks) and we can only presume Woody from Toy Story or because he's ginger and the colour of wood flooring :rotfl:. We got them from Battersea Dogs home 8 years ago, they're brothers from the same litter, but are different colours and body frames. We've been told that cats can have different fathers in one litter

Hob, not sure if you've seen this for your brother's x-Box (or if it's even his kind of this, but this was posted on the Grabbit Board - Batman Lego and Pure XBox games for £9.99:
