Oh Gill, so sorry to hear about your mum. Huge hugs xxDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Gill, hope all the red tape/legalese goes well today.
Your mum was involved in getting the papers about the child migrants released? Thats really something - an uncle of mine was a child migrant, its why I have Zimbabwean relatives - some time in the future, it would be lovely to hear about your mum's work on that, if it isn't too painful.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi Gill - savingholmes here - locked out of my account. It is bound to take a while for your head to get back together - hope work are being supportive0

Well today is finally over. Some biggish hurdles dealt with - clambered over with help, rather than at a gallop, but we got there. We've also done some visiting of ageing rellies.
KC - there is tons of stuff about the Child Migrants - all in an archive box. I also need to track down a copy of the book. She was also involved with Tommy Steele in getting the Eleanor Rigby statue made and situated in Liverpool.
Amazing the stuff you take for granted - apparently they are flying the flag on Liverpool Town Hall at half mast!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Thanks to all
your thoughts mean a lot. I am managing to deal with the officialdom, they are always very matter of fact and make it easier. I think the thing that is hardest to deal with is the devastation of her friends and ex-colleagues.
Because of the bank holiday, we are now in a limbo period until the funeral, so that doesn't help.
I will be back, with a more positive attitude.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
