    Hi KC
somehow its always the same, her darling son can do no wrong. His divorce is *her* fault, his children who never say thankyou is *her* fault; he's so busy and hardworking etc.

Don't get me wrong, I love my brother, but he's very good at breezing in when its all over.

I did loads of ironing yesterday watching the GP - I hope Hamilton apologises for his comments as they were a bit out of order.
Today I am going to do some tidying in the back room, then go to Mum's house and empty china cabinets. BIL and my DS are going to decorate during the week - so she can't come home while there are paint fumes :-)

I will visit this afternoon, then have the rest of the day to cook and then get clothes ready. I'm going to go to work tomorrow as I need to earn some money.

Good plan! I think Hamilton has already apologised - I saw the tv news this morning, and they were reporting his apology, rather than the original comment.

Good for him - I haven't put the telly on yet. It's probably difficult in the heat of the moment to remember to engage brain before opening mouth.

Sorry that you have been having family problems it so hard when family from away breeze in and pronounce judgment without knowing what is going on I have been there so know how you feel. And of course distance always turns relatives into gods in any tale whilst those buckling down and getting things done don't get the appreciation they deserve but you know that without you things would be very different for your mum. I am glad your sister was blunt it needs saying but it is hard to do.

On a lighter night I was very disappointed with Hamilton you know I have a soft spot for him but he has really let himself down and apology or not what he said was really childish - he used to be so nice fame and money has affected him I am afraid as it does so many - I am sure that I would cope a lot better if it came my way :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I wish :D actually forget the fame I'll just take the dosh :o

Definitely Dairy Milk, no matter how skint I was, its generally affordable.

I'd like to see if money changed me. I'm sure I'd cope;)

Have been to see Mum this afternoon, one of my aunties was there, so we had a bit of a laugh. TBH I don't think Mum heard half of what we said, she was just enjoying the company. One of her friends came in and brought some food. I *know* hospital food is supposedly bad, but Mum hasn't much appetite; what was she meant to do with some containers of soup, crusty bread, sandwiches, apple pie and cream? Send it back home with her daughter, that's what:p

I won't see her now until Thursday, so hopefully will see an improvement, that's unless she's discharged herself. Sister has worked really hard on Mum's house, its her way of coping. I'll stick with cooking and tea making.

Off to sunny Shropshire this morning. Feel a bit nervous being away from Mum, but she's making steady progress.

My mortgage statement arrived on Saturday, so I updated part of my sig, but will have a closer look at the reality later today when I'm in the hotel.

Have a good day if you're reading.

Hey Gill, hope all goes well this week - sun, and the debt going down, AND free food - they all help :)

    And seriously, your mum stabilising.

Have had no wi-fi in the hotel this week, so have been a bit lost!
Mum is still very frail, and has had a fall in the hospital trying to do things for herself. Fortunately her pride was hurt more than anything else.
