Getting out of my comfort zone

Just wondering how you are, and how your mum is ....2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Morning thanks for your concern folks. Mum is slowly improving, is still very tired, but has had some 'sleep' (albeit medically induced) which was what she needed. She gets tired really easily, so we are just sitting with her . It's just upsetting as she was doing so well, until they changed the medication. But maybe they had their reasons and the medication was masking an underlying problem. At least we are getting some sleep too, so today I am going to work from home and try and do some work, now my concentration is a bit better. Client has been brilliant, so even if I just get a few hours, its better than nothing. Glad I didn't get a ticket, but parking isn't cheap around the hospital, especially if you are there for a long time. In some ways it would be easier if we split the visits between us, but we need each other. Now that she is a little better the rest of the family can do some visiting too. Fridge is like Mother Hubbard's cupboard, as I had planned on doing my shopping on Sunday - that'll teach me. Will just get some basics today, as I think I get 2 weeks pay at some point this weekend. Money is released tomorrow, to hit bank within 3 working days, which is Wednesday, but contractually that's too late. Another thing, don't know what it is, but the banners across the top of the page aren't showing properly on this netbook, so have to scroll down three or four pages to see anything. I think I may need to upgrade Firefox. Last time I did that, it broke the whole thing, so will check out the forums about it. ETA: ****** I did put breaks in this, but they didn't show!!! And now this is probably all part of one big paragraph too! I can't do smilies either :-(Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Thanks for letting us know, Gill - I'm not surprised you want to go with each other for support. Sorry you're having such trouble with getting online - I'm able to get on, but it is a bit funny ...2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Glad to hear that things are a bit better and that your client is being co operative and that you have support from your sister let's hope they get the medication sorted and that your Mum feels better soon.
Hugs to you. I will be at Alder Hey tomorrow so will be close pity things weren't better so that we could have sneaked a coffee.

Morning
well I don't know about everyone else, but its very blustery here today.
I got home from the hospital last night, made myself a cuppa while I decided what to eat, and next thing I knew it was after eleven, DS had covered me with a blanket and put the fire on! Awake bright and breezy this morning, so may tackle the ironing.
Mum seemed better yesterday, she could at least talk a bit, rather than just sleeping. So hopefully this is the start of an improvement. I'll try and get some work done too this morning, managed a few hours yesterday, also had a phone call from an agency about what may be an interesting possibility for the future; so will at least get some pay for this week. The 2 weeks pay that was due today, was released yesterday, so should have money tomorrow, so today isn't as bad as it could have been financially.
Hopefully will be able to catch up with DT later today, all depends on how her daughter is. We'll see.
The banner at the top of the page seems OK now, so hopefully this will post OK, rather than the single paragraph stuff from yesterday which was really hard to read.
Have a good day all.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Glad to see things are a bit more hopeful and you must have needed the sleep - but ironing do you have to really
