Gill on the hair, as I got older I suddenly realised at least for me that I couldn't get away with really long hair, and didn't have the time or knowhow to put it up elegantly quickly. With it being long and fairly straight it made me look older too. The compromise I came to was to go for just about shoulder length, but kinks up at the ends. It's long enough to put out the way in a bun or ponytail for practicality. Family have said it definitely looks smarter.
So it may be worth thinking about different styles and lengths too.0 -
I've been playing around with putting my hair up, but my hair is very fine and I need so many pins to keep it in place, I look like a hedgehog. Will get some hairspray, or gel or something.
My hair is a shoulder length bob, so not too long any more, but maybe I need a bit of a fringe so that when the rest is 'up' there is still some detail round my face.
Spent the afternoon sorting books out, and have measured the alcoves to see what I can do with them.
I've just asked DS what he wants to wear to go out with my sister next week, as I won't be around until then and his answer? "Am I a girl? I'll decide when I get out of the shower." So simple.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Fine hair here too. The spray and gels might be something for me to try too, thanks.
I tried a fringe, unfortunately eyes didn't like it when it got longer, triggered allergic reactions, and it's taken ages to grow out. So watch out if eyes are at all sensitive. I think the fringe and hayfever combination didn't help.0 -

Been to zumba again, so that's 2 weeks running I've done some exercise, which is probably 2 weeks more than I've done for ages.
It will take a while though to get the hang of it, co-ordinating it all is a bit beyond me. And I didn't come back and stuff my face either. Had some carrot sticks and a banana.
Didn't bother updating spending at the weekend as it was the same old, same old.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

hi KC
you were around late!
I did some knitting and went to bed, and a video would definitely be in the category 'train crash'. But its a laugh and it keeps me busy for a while, and I can't eat and exercise at the same time, so even if I don't burn off calories, I gain somehow.
Busy couple of days, loads to get through and I'm finishing early to go out with my sister.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
