Need to see how I feel in a few days time to see if I feel the same and if it is worth talking to him about this. I need to see how I feel and if the feelings remain.
(((Hugs))) fedup. Remember it takes time - I finally split up with my ex 2 years ago and I am only really just over it. I'm still not sure what I'd do if he turned up on my doorstepso don't do anything rash.
Hiya
Sorry i've not read anything. Massive hugs to anyone who needs them. DS was discharged yesterday only to be readmitted 6 hours later. They don't know what the pain is....the good news is they say it's not life threatening. However, this means they're sending him to a pain clinic to cope with the pain as opposed to sorting out what it is. I'm so angry and feel i'm letting him down because I can't help him and he keeps suffering from these acute pain attacks for up to 6 hours. One nurse even suggested he's putting it on. If you could see him when he's in pain you'd know he's not putting it on.
DH with him tonight whilst I see my daughter.
Hugs to you all. Never thought i'd miss cleaning!!! xx
(((hugs))) Mudbath and lots of love and prayers for your DS. Keep pushing them to investigate the source of the pain - yes he needs to learn how to deal with it, but they also need to find the underlying cause, however long it takes. Unfortunately there is still a tendency to assume children & teenagers may be putting it on or that the pain my be purely psychological... I went through the same thing but luckily my physio was able to demonstrate how real the pain was, and I also had a very good neurologist. I'll email you later.
Went to the gym and did about 50 mins CV (including 10 mins of running ). Why does my left leg hurt here, when it didn't in the states?I then did an hour of yoga, which strictly speaking I'm not supposed to be doing (has anyone else who is hypermobile/has floppy children been told this?) as I'm supposed to be doing more pilates, but I couldn't be bothered to stay that late... Still, it's two hours more exercise than I've done most monday's recently! Let's hope I can keep it up. I'm planning on going for a quick swim before work tomorrow. In fact, I need to log on and check my work diary... can't wait to get my blackberry!
Had two corn on the cob for supper. Work lunch (pasta with ratatouille) has been made and is in the fridge. Just need to do breakfast... and maybe tidy a bit of the kitchen.
Towels have been washed and are in the TD. Clean, dry laundry is on my bed waiting to be put away. Unpacking is finished and spare room is almost clear!0 -
evening all
I was a bit later home than usual tonight, but have done well with the flying (for a change on a weeknight!). We had dinner and after washing up I spent 20 mins on the kitchen list. Not completely done but almost! I've had an hour with my feet up watching tv. DH will be finishing his study soon. Now trying to decide whether to have a bath/shower so I can lie in a bit longer again in the morning, and not go out with wet hair!

It's not just puffy love, it's deep swelling so the normal slightly puffy eye tricks won't work I fear.... but hey, if that's all that I've got to complain about, I'm really luckyI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Evening everyone!
I've had a quick skim thro the thread, I'll never keep up for the whole week but I'll at least try! Work gets in the way of MSE!
Mudbath - hugs for your son..
Rosepink - ooh! I like that purse you bought, I might have to have a little look on ebay myself!
Toot & LL - Hope you're both ok...
Its been an ok day at work today & for once I'm not completely out of energy so a bit has been done tonight. I remembered to order a load of logs for the woodburner which we need desperately as our bolier has decided it doesn't want to heat the radiators anymore & the man can't come out to look at it til the 28th Nov ! I've also spent about 2 hours going through all the comparison websites to sort out my car insurance renewal. All I need to do now is ring my current insurer tomorrow & hope they'll match my best quote. they did last year, its much easier than changing.

Evening all,
Hugs to Mudbath and your Ds, i hope they find out really soon what's causing the pain.
Hugs also to Fedup.
I found my diary earlier that i started when Ds1 was 1. The last entry was before i was even pregnant with Ds2 and there's huge gaps of years between some entries. I wish i'd written more often. I'm going to start writing it again and try to do it at least once a week.
I'm really tired today so will be going to bed soon i think.

Fraid not... sad, isn't it... particularly given that there are probably MUCH better men out there if only we could stop thinking that the idiots who let us down were so perfect...:o
I really MUST stop wasting time on here and get myself ready for the morning. I've got an 8.30 meeting and I'm really not sure whether I'll manage to go for a swim first!0 -
Evening all.
Fedup - Big hugs to you.
mudbath - Lets hope they find the problem soon. Pain management is the easy solution for them i think.
