    Hi everyone!

Oooo! Kitchen day? Yayyyy!!!! My favourite.
I am, of course, being massively sarcastic, but at least I get it out the way while the week is young and I am somewhat motivated! After the weekend catchup things aren't half as bad as they could be, so can't complain really!

Really quick day at work today, weird! Had loads of little bits to do and all of a sudden it was time to go home, so happy about that all round. OH is back up in the studio workin so got plenty of time to myself again to get on I suppose! Wish me luck. Will add HH exercise to my list, but this will only happen if OH's colleague goes back to London at a reasonable hour and I feel safe to look a prat on my wii whatname!

    Evening....
Hope everyone's had a good day. (I've been trying to catch up with the thread and I'm now trying very hard not to think why these gentlemen want those shoes...:p).

Haven't managed to do much of the list, but in addition I have taken DD around the street fair, entertained DS and tried to finish the tidying of the living room as my sister of doom is visiting tomorrow (she's the jealous type) and I just want it to look perfect! (Still have the children's toy baskets to tidy and sort, but they are the work of moments). I shall sit down with my knitting tonight...

I have been spending the last week chipping away at the hot spots on my kitchen worksurfaces, which means I can wipe them over more easily every day. They even get the occasional spray of antibac!! Just need the rest of the house to fall into order now....

Anyway, have a good evening all, and here's a HUG for anyone who feels they need one!

    Take care
    D

PS: my furniture is lovely (tragic, really, isn't it :o)....we used our old sofas to destruction, so it was about time to get some new...

    Evening all

    Welcome Smartie and louboutin

Toots - when you're ready, I'll have a Monday star for the kitchen please

Well, my meeting with the highbrows went well, I have now got a bit of part time work for the local University. It won't pay enough to live on, but it's a start and it's interesting work.

Took another load of stuff over DS and DiL's and am now going to cook what * I * want for dinner :D (celery cheese, cold chicken and a jacket potato I think)
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
  • Hi everyone - can I join again please? Is it still an xmas tree for newbies?

    :xmastree:

I've attempted to rejoin a couple of times. I'm determined to stick with it this time - even if I just get to level 1, as my flat is so much easier to keep on top of if I'm flying everyday! I feel like I'm on top of my work and I'm doing weight watchers at the moment - have stuck to it for 5 weeks now, so feel like I can keep up with the flying!

I probably can't keep up with the thread everyday, but I'll try my best!

Thanks so much guys for doing this! :j

The flying I did yesterday I have deleted from the list.

None done today as too upset as me and OH have really split up today with no point of return despite what I think and want. I feel like my heart has shattered into a lot of pieces.

Need to see how I feel in a few days time to see if I feel the same and if it is worth talking to him about this. I need to see how I feel and if the feelings remain.

Soappie - great news on the P/T work. Enjoy your dinner. How is your eye?

Just the beaver pickup left to do and then once DS3 is in bed I can get on with the ironing. I need to do some more stuff on here later too but DS1 has homework to do and the laptop power cable is not working.

    See you all much later.

Me too! I should be able to finish the first half of my wedding present cushion cover, only 5 days left until the wedding! Am spending the day with the bride tomorrow helping her get her new place in order. She's moving into her hubby-to-be's cottage, in a town quite far from here, hope I can find it!

    Hugs Pigpen

I'm very pleased with what I've acheived today, done quite a lot! Very happy, the kitchen looks really good and the floors are nice and clean. It makes such a difference when the place looks nice.

Greenbee, you will be pleased to know that I've managed to convince my dad to start using a pedometer. After his lunchtime walk today he had 6, 000 steps, I think he was quite chuffed! He keeps texting me with his total! He desperately needs to lose weight, he is very overweight and it's really affecting his health, so I hope the pedometer might spur him on a bit. It's helping me - I kept up my walking regime while on holiday and am very pleased that I came back weighing exactly the same as when I went, especially as I overate massively during the first week of the holiday! Walking helps my depression too

    Big hugs Fedup

Soappie, well done on the work!
