I'm returning.........
Over the last couple of months , my house has got more and more untidy and dirty. Not so dirty that someone would recoil in horror but bad enough that I spend my whole time thinking I should do some cleaning and then not doing it. Things are going to change.
Kitchen...here I comeWe don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0 -
Had a reasonably productive day, washing and drying done. Need to do some ironing but CBA!
I think we should do a visualistation for Mudbath's DS and LL. Toots will shout at me if I include her, I can hear her now saying we need to share these around *I will include her but not tell her if you don't*
Can I suggest 9pm tomorrow night when LO's are in bed?Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
:hello:Ooh, hello vivw! And welcome back! How's life your way?
I've been very busy at work, haven't felt well, the whole family have been off colour today, funny tummy-ish, but we can't pinpoint a common factor, as we haven't all been to the same places or eaten the same...
I'll fly tomorrow. I'm staying home as DD unwell and feeling miserable.
Love and hugs to fedup. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Evening everyone!
Lots of good wishes to Mudbath & fedup, hope everything comes good for you very soon.
AnW'sMum I can do 9pm tomorrow, will definitely join in.
Hope everyone had a good weekend. It was my birthday on Sat, we went to Brum to see the Staffordshire Hoard, it's fab, so glad we made the effort.
:j:jCan I have a star for today please????!!!:j:j
thanks!
night all....0 -
I dont think you have to be religious just to be charitable and to me christmas is about being with my loved ones and appreciating how fortunate I am to live where I do in the world, how fortunate I am to be living without fear for my life and that of my family.
That is every day to me.
I think we tend to take for granted the things that are really necessary and important in our lives. That is possibly the sole reason I haven't strangled a child in the last 6 months lol...
I do remind the children of how others live when they are complaining about the simplest of things.. having gravy on their dinner for one.
Mudders... how you kept your hands off a nurse suggesting your wee man was putting it on is beyond me.. I'd have beat her from one end of the street to the other and told her she was putting it on!!! I HATE staff like that.. they are the reason I hate hospitals and doctors.. idiots! I do hope he is feeling better very soon and the pain subsides for his little self.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
:hello: Good morning fellow Flyladys! Also:
ORDER REPEAT PRESCRIPTION - Forgot on Friday and almost out of tablets - given the serious risk to my health if I don’t have them I really need to organise myself on this! Happens too often!
Lala1974 can you not get your chemist to collect prescription from the docs and then deliver to you?
Today i have had the carpet fitted and it looks lovely.
I have started decluttering the rubbish and by the end of the week should be all sorted.
Hugs for all who need them. Officially Debt Free Nov 2012 :beer:0 -

Hi Serena....sorry to hear you aren't feeling well.
Life has been busy, busy and thats why I need to get back to 'flying'. I'm taking it small steps at a time at the moment but am hoping to working up to achieving the full day's list by next week.We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0 -

Hugs Serena, that is exactly how I've been feeling yesterday and today. Wonder if it is a bug. I've been to buy some more bio capusules today as I'd run out to see if that helps.
Vivw lovely to see you back hun
Soappie - you could try arnica cream if it feels bruised from the swelling, just on the skin obviously not in the eye.
Mudders - I am so sorry your son is still suffering, could he be referred to a different hospital? I know your GP is usually great could you speak to him for advice?
Fedup
so sorry to hear you have split from you partner. I know things have been uncertain for a time and that in itself is an awful situation to be in. Hopefully in time you will find a way forward to the happiness you deserve x
I've done the ironing. Off to bed now. Sleep tight all.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Fedup, I think a change of name is a very good idea, it’s important to think as positively as possible and referring to yourself in a negative way will make you feel worse. I like happyandcontent and sunnyzo. I can really sympathize with you as I spent most of my teens and early 20’s suffering from unrequited love and it was very painful, big hugs to you xx
My legs ache! I think I need to find some stretches to do as my legs really ache at the end of each day and then in the morning they are really stiff until I start walking about again
Hugs to all who need them, especially Lady Liberty, Toots, Zoe and Thifty
Welcome back Vivw
Serena there is a bug going round that affects the tummy, all my family were feeling really queasy last week, although we weren’t actually sick. But we all felt tired and a bit dodgy
I'm supposed to be going to help my friend organize her new home tomorrow - the trouble is, I can't get hold of her and I don't know where she lives, apart from the name of the town. She told me she would ring me tonight and give me directions. I've phoned and texted but her phone is off or she has no signal and I don't have her landline. This is something that really annoys me about her, she's a very sweet person, but very very scatty. I like to know what I'm doing, preferably the day before. It's a long way to go and I want to sort out directions and get organized. Knowing her she will probably ring up at about 11am to see where I am! If I don't hear anything tonight I think I will make other plans. But then I will feel guilty.Don't know what to do!
