Yawn yawn yawn, the idea of a load of married people wearing their wedding dress again is cute, cute like sticking pins in donkeys eyes. Its not a fancy dress party, its the sub context underneath that is of concern, who would want to go to an event in their wedding dress? The wedding event is over.
Who would want to go to a schoolie night in a school uniform?
Their school days are over.
Who would want to go to an 80s night in 80s clothes?
The 80s are so over.

It's definitely more MSE than having to buy a new dress for a charity ball, and it ensures a basic level of formality.
I wouldn't go, but then I probably wouldn't go to a hog roast either.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I remember when I was working at Stone Henge, there was a Hog Roast, Time Team made us all be quiet so they could record the sound of the fire, perhaps they don't have fire SFX in the Ch4 post production studios.I run an event management company, I put on events, I go to events, if I don't know anything about events - its not worth knowing!:j:j:jNegotiate, Negotiate, and Negotiate again.:j:j:j0

In my personal opinion, the only thing TACKY that I have seen on this thread is your stuck up attitude!
