Removing mould from kitchen items?

You say you dry it in the dishwasher? Do you happen to wash it in the dishwasher? If so, that is where your problem is, it is not allowed to go into a dishwasher, it will absorb too much water through the stone/earthenware. If not, then no idea.. sorry. Hope you get it sorted.
Where is the mould, on the shiny inside (the bowl) or on the underside where it is rough and you can see the stone/earthenware?0 -
I wash it in the dishwasher indeed, but it is dishwasher safe (written on it).
The mould is on the inside of the ceramic bowl. Apparently there are small cracks (like on the old painings), which I have no idea where from, and mould grows on these cracks.0 -

Its very new, I bought it a few month ago and used it just a few times because my family didn't like the taste of food in there. I was thinking of bringing it back to shop, but I have no receipt or the box left. Do you think contacting the manufacturer will work?
It is my first SC and I didn't know how it should look like after a few uses0 -

I have had mine for years and have never had a problem, can I ask which shop you bought it from? and did you pay by card? A bank statement is good enough to use as a recipt, (and if it was Argos or a supermarket then they are great at helping.)
Also what is about the taste you dont like? if anything your food should taste super after slow cooking.RIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten. Chris n tj, yes it was Argos and we paid by card. Will dig out a statement. About the taste...hmm.. dunno it is probably that chicken in it tastes more like a boiled one, and my OH is not keen on boiled meat. I blame it more on my cooking skills
Even when I follow the recipe it is not good. And meatballs were not ready after 9 hours on slow (even browned before!)
