  • Thanks skint I will Defo update my signature as soon as I know what's what LOL

Feeling much better today OH has secured a Flexi loan for £15,000 which she is planning to clear my loan and her high interest credit card the remainder will pay for the wedding this will add £7000 to our total debt which many will see as a bad move but I can now keep promise to kids re Disney land.

OH will be drawing up a repayment plan and over payment plan as when she returns to work we should have a nice disposable income of approx £1000

I may get some sleep now tonight without worrying about bailiffs etc and even if OH changes her mind when paperwork comes at least I will have had a few nights sleep!!:D

  • Fantastic thankyou skint. We decided against the loan we sat down last night with a calculator and we think we can do it without extra credit and using the credit available to us we do need to get approx an extra £350 per month. spoke to DS about Disneyland and going 2 or 3 months later and he was ok with this, although he wants to sit his 11+ so really he needs to not miss any schooling.
Back to plan a work my A^^off!
Made an appointment with the bank as OH looked into my statements and pointed out I was paying interest and a high account fee as well as charges, going to ask them to help and lower the account fees and will ask them to reimburse charges. OH said if I don't ask I won't get!!!
I have asked on facebook for friends to let me know of any Xmas jobs going to help pay for wedding, and SIL is visiting soon and she will be bridesmaid she has her wedding shoes and will bring her tiara down aswell, this should save us £75 ish:-)

  • Yea We both got them before I admitted I was in arrears, we already decided to buy each other something for the wedding to save money.

I'm in the garden today chopping my way through the weeds LOL, ds is putting together his trampoline which was freecycled to us a few months ago, OH was helping in the garden but the baby needed feeding and she's now going to prepare roast beef for tonight and clean ds bedroom. Spent 45p today on paper as ds is collecting all the free Lego, the mirror do this every school holiday ds loves it, normally grandad gets the paper but he went out first thing.

Applied for approx 8 jobs in the last week, will hopefully hear back from 1!!!
