Thanks everyone, i have to admit im addicted to PADing - OH didn't really get it untill he saw I had knocked the balance down by 300 pounds in 2 months! It also makes you feel you are achieving something, even if it is just £1.

Well should have been at uni today but im working later (the rota was out before I reduced my contract) and although I could have done both i decided to just do work, as I would have been on the 7.42 train this morning, back home at 12.30ish and then off to work 2.30 - 10 and I would have been knackered.

Had no interest what so ever in my dress so going to reduce the asking price i think! xx

Im not sure really, when I collected it though they never offered anything like that and they knew my wedding had been cancelled and they even advised me how to store it properly to keep its colour for when I sold it, so im thinking they would have mentioned it, if it was something that they did?

Its just doing my head in now, cos its in my spare room, I have no where to put it, and to be honest its a bit upsetting having it in the house! xxx

ring them up and see what they say they may offer a reduced price? or advise you where to sell it ?

agree with Happy - you've got nothing to lose by asking them, and if what they offer is too low then you don't have to take it.

I know you are both right! will dig the number out and give them a call! just making myself some lunch for now and also some to take to work - i know this is totally off topic of debts but im having major issues with my complextion! does anyone have any advice on clearing the skin and also getting read of these god damn bags under my eyes please!!

good luck with wedding dress, dont work too hard and well done on PADing.
I was advised not to pad as on a DMP and it would potenially cause problems unless i can PAD same amount to all creditors and that is too much. but bit jealous after seeing how fast you debt is going down, i have been trying to pay debts by DMP since early 2004 and seems to be dragging on but cant afford to up weekly amount.

Hi all made another PAD today of £5.00

My current account is with halifax and every month they pay you £5 and that went in the bank today so thought I'd spend it on the very catalogue taking it down to £773!

Anyone going to have a quick look across other posts before going to bed, def need an early night as i missed my train to uni this morning - whoops!!

Hi all,

Hope you are all well, ive had a verrryyy long day today with uni this morning and then work this evening! made a pad of a whopping 45p today :rolleyes:

Also i am very excited as me and oh have iphones and our joint bill this past couple of months has been £200 (ish) :eek::eek:

So after posting in the mobile phone section of the site for advice I discovered that if you txt 21202 it tells you how many mins and texts you have left within your contract allowance, so me and OH have used it this month and today we received our bill and it is.....£87! im sooooo chuffed with us, although a little confused as our contracts are £45 each so why its under £90 i dont know lol but never mind!
