There was a bit more to it than that or have you not read it all? (Although the hair cutting in itself was bad enough).

So you would be happy with a nursery cutting your child's hair, then for them to lie about it to you?

As for saying the Op doesn't deserve to have kids, that's just ridiculous.

The nursery were wrong. They lied. In the eyes of the law, it is abuse.

Please stop hi-jacking this thread to talk about cutting a kid's hair, this is about more important things...

Oohhh, errrrr, just forget I said that..........

Well of course it would get a different response - eyesight & tear ducts don't regrow if damaged (or cut, as here). Hair does. I'm not saying the op wasn't right to be cross - I would have been, too, but your analogy isn't comparing like with like.

Of course it isn't the same, but the rhetoric point is rather like something in chaos theory, that a small change in initial circumstances might lead to a large difference in outcome, the posts I replied to might adopt a polar difference in attitude

I'd prefer the paint in the hair, thanks. And knowing thetype of paint so I know what I can use to remove it, or whether it would cause less hassle to go get a haircut.

And on the milk think, I'm also lactose intolerant, and I don't think OP wanted tummy aches, diarrhoea and projectile vomiting until it's back out of the system. Also, if it was unidentified she'd been given milk, then ti could have cause prolonged dehydration and a visit to hospital to resolve it, causing further stress and anxiety to a young child and her parents

So I wonder why the OP only felt like taking the matter to the police when his kid had a haircut? The milk incident seems far worse to me, as a parent.

Takoda, I must salute you on the first line of your signature. You beat me to it. (Not referring particularly to this thread, just in general). :D
